>used to be able to play games 8+ hours a day
>now i can't play a game for more than 30 minutes before I alt+f4 and do something else
Why? Every game feels like a boring chore
Used to be able to play games 8+ hours a day
because you arent playing EDF5
I was literally just playing EDF4.1
it's time to play other types of games with your gf
If you don't enjoy something then don't play it.
Wait for inspiration to hit then enjoy something.
When you force yourself to be stimulated by something that has stimulated you for most of your life you're gonna end up with shitty expectations and let yourself down.
You're growing up user. Experience the real world a little more
28 year old boomer here and the same thing happened to me so i switched over to painting Warhammer models and ive never been happier
Play with your friends. Try VR. Play good games
depression
ok, move along. maybe try taking a break from games
probably because you're sick of passive entertainment and want to do something more creative with your time. Do something like and make something creative. You can even do it within vidya. Like make a custom level.
One of the most common symptoms of depression is a loss of interest in your hobbies. You just gotta figure shit out, user. I couldn't play any vidya while o was severely depressed back in the day. But the spark came back once i figured out: a) why I was depressed; and b) how I can fix it.
Why were you depressed user
>tfw I spent $100 on Vidya to play during my lockdown
>immediately pick up another hobby after playing past the return window
s-source?
You need variety in vidya genres or hobbies
Because you wasted so much time on games that lead to nothing, you've burnt out. Instead of coming to Zig Forums to make the same thread everyday, maybe get a real hobby. Eventually you'll be more intrigued by videogames. Or not. It's just a past time, and there are no shortage of past times.
You're getting old, user.
29 here, showing the same symptoms.
the real redpill was to take up reading and the sopranos
you gotta play games you havent played before
I had an early existential crisis when I realized my life had no purpose in my early 20s. I also realized i chose the wrong career path as I hated what I was doing. On top of that, I had some bad relationships with crazy, manipulative girls + a whole bunch of dates that didn't work out. All this led to depression, then severe alcohol and cocaine abuse, then more depression.
My early 20s sucked man ahahahah, this is the best summary I can give
You are just playing bad games. That's literally it. Its possible you've grown out of them too. However, my opinion is Sony and a lot of PC games are rehashes with no innovative gameplay. We've hit the point where no amount of graphics or storytelling will make the game fun. Original, fun games, are becoming less and less due to the amount of LBGTs in the industry.
You have depression
Well that is rough. You seem better now though, and that is good! Were you able to revert all the choices that made your life miserable?
I wish i knew :c
Depression is a fake. You just want attention when you say that you have it.
that is only true if you're a w*man
Sounds like you're growing up and going through the big change! exciting times ahead
Dude, if you are man and have a "depression", im not sure you are man after all.
get depression and kys you ESL bitch
>EOP is bad! Too stupid to learn other languages!
>ESL is bad! You can't flawlessly talk in english!
Cringe, bro
did he died?
The games you loved were simple and you've become wiser. Trust me, someone with discerning taste can pick just about any game from memory and replay it for days.
Most activities are chores when you think about it. Especially if you're doing them for long hours.
you need a break, a week or two or maybe try a fresh genre you never gave a chance
youll be good as new when you come back trust me
So you didn't have depression but "depression"
> Original, fun games, are becoming less and less due to the amount of LBGTs in the industry
LOLOLOLOLOL Hahahahaha You're retarded
Just take like a month long break, that's what I did and afterwards I finished 3 games in one week.
>Want to go outside and socialize
>legitimately afraid of people
Why am I like this?
