Paper Mario unfortunately and probably now Gears of War
such a shame, I grew up with both of these series
nintendo is very bad at managing franchises in my opinion. rushed development times, poor management, poor marketing (which makes the majority of games unplay able), and most of all, they didn't put in the hours to get the games right for the market (which is why the majority of the time their games don't play well ) they also just keep releasing new and different games which usually doesn 't make the player think.

That aren't Mario, Zelda or Pokemon, sure.
PSYOP or a stroke.
I guess Splatoon is pretty well managed too, since it's their new golden goose.
Dark Souls
Correct. Splatoon only has 2 games, only existed since 2015 and has already outsold the entire Star Fox series.
Even SF64, which was the best selling game, got outsold by Splatoon 1 on the Wii U

That's not Star Fox's fault, though. The industry is a lot bigger now, and TPS are a lot more popular than any space shooter ever was.
it's a weird japanese game about squid people shooting each other with fluids
a fucking star wars game can't compete with that? pathetic
It's puppet Star Wars though. And it lacks lightsabers. Only cultured people love Star Wars because of the star wars and not because of the fucking lightsabers.
What are the good games for star fox?
Star Fox 64. That's pretty much it. The rest go from ok to "what the fuck does this piece of shit OoT wannabe have to do with fucking Star Fox at all?".
So adventures is the worst in your eyes? What how do the rest compare between 64 and adv?
You pilot the ship for like 5 minutes in total in the entire game. I'm not even exaggerating.
I guess it'd be 64 > Assault > Zero > 2 > 1 > Command > shit > Adventures.
Personally I'd rank assault just above adventures. That game really disappointed me in 2005 and aged like milk compared to 64. At least with the original and 2 it has a stylized presentation to it that adds to the charm.
I haven't played it in ages, so maybe. All I know is that Zero wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.
Zero really is an unfortunate case of a potentially great game ruined by unnecessary decisions. I'm not against the control scheme it had but it could have offered some customization options the branching paths can offer more than just find a portal or chase Starwolf. What made 64 levels so fun was that a lot of them had objectives that game you a mission complete or a mission accomplished. If zero ever gets a switch port I'm sure it will be a better game if it gets some QoL changes.
Assault was good despite being pretty short desu
So bad that the shitty fantasy moba spinoff takes up the first four rows of google images when you search total war. Literally only two good games in the series.
>All I know is that Zero wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.
The main problems are that
>they force you to look at two fucking screens at once like it's a DS, which detracts from the great gyro controls
>it's a fucking retread of SF64
Sonic but Sonic was never good
Ignore the other retard. StarFox SNES was the best one.
SNES>64>>>Assault. Fuck the others.
Final Fantasy
XII is not a bad game.
Even star fox 2?
XIII has 3 games and X has 2
Wait a minute, let me count.
>Good games
1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14?
>Bad games
2, 8, 10, 10-2, 11, 13, 13-2, 13-3, 15
Seems more like a 50-50 split to me user. The next game will decide if the series was good or bad.
>Good
Star Fox
Star Fox 2
Star Fox 64
Star Fox: Assault
>"Bad"
Star Fox Adventures
Star Fox Command
Star Fox Zero
More good than bad, and thats the facts.
Assault is actually a bad game so OP's statement is still true. Sorry
Imagine actually thinking Assault was a bad game lmao. Wasn't phenomenal, but "bad" is factually false.

Not him, but my list is:
64>1>2>>As/Co>>Ad
It's a shame a lot of people didn't seem to experience 2 on Expert mode, where the game truly shines.
