PS5 price reveal coming next week

Why do these industry insiders always know enough to say when they will announce something like the price but not leak what the price actually is. It can’t be that few people in the know and if there are you would think they would be able to keep their mouths shut about when they’re announcing it too

I asked this in a different thread but whatever. Does the mall open for midnight releases or not? My two options for a pre-order are best buy or gamestop. Gamestop is inside a mall but closer and more convenient.
I don't want to pre-order it at a mall gamestop and realize they won't open until the next day.

I agree, which is why I think they must be confident about the price, if they announce the price just before, it's going to put pressure on MS to announce, and it wouldn't make sense for them to do that unless they thought they were well positioned price wise. Like with the hardware talk, their box wasn't as powerful, so they waited till after MS dropped specs, so as not to get blown out later, it seems that if they're willing to lead they think they have an advantage over MS.

Anime is problematic and warps impressionable minds. You'll have to settle for Spider-Man 1.5 and literally that's it there is nothing else planned on the system for an entire year.

$399 is a day one buy for me.
$499 is a wait and see what the launch window will look like.
Anything higher and I'm waiting at least a year.
