Nah. I really don't like the comparisons to The Room. That movie has nothing redeemable at all outside of wacky moments. The characters are awful, the plot is nonexistant, the dialogue is embarassing and you don't care about a single thing that happens. It's an actual meme. Deadly Premonition is servicable as a game, just a jank PS2 horror title in that department. The story is good, the characters are S+ tier and the writing and wacky moments work and are endearing. It's a sewn together corpse of mismatched pieces, but is charming. The Room is that ninja star kid in class you humor because it's fun to make fun of them and see that they are genuine.
