Are witcher vampires the most powerful fictional vampires?

Are witcher vampires the most powerful fictional vampires?

Gimme a quick comparsion with VtmB vamps, only played W1+2, and memoreis fuzzy, what can witcher vamps do?

Caine in VtM is basically a god, only beaten by literally god himself.

Practically immortal, unless killed by another vampire.

they aren't even close, but they are OP as fuck

he asked about VTMB vampires, not Witcher vampires

>what can witcher vamps do?

Witcher vampires are an elder race that only polymorphs into human form, like dragons.

Von Carstein are far stronger

Witcher vampires are definitely up there in terms of fictional vampires. They aren't even really vampires in the classical or modern interpretation, they are more high level shapeshifters. They don't need blood to survive and basically nothing that would normally kill a vampire is particularly effective on them.

Not even remotely when you consider fiction like D.

They are just covered in plot armour.

In nonsorcerous physical terms, yes. When you compare them to other fictional vampires on a magical basis, the power creep of anime and jap vidya vampires is extreme.

Higher vamps in the witcher universe have super strength and speed, they can teleport, morph into a powerful creature (the creature they morph into is unique to the individual), they are immortal, can regenerate when injured and can only be killed by another higher vampire. Also, contrary to the typical depiction of vampires, they are immune to the effects sunlight and aren't dependant on blood (it's more of an indulgence for them, like alcohol or drugs).

Pretty sure VTM Higher Vampires are stronger. Bloodlines is essentially about stopping an older one from waking up and wiping out a city as a snack I think.

VtM:B vampires in the modern day are all pretty weak and aren't really all that great. As a vampire gets older only other vampires can sustain it, meaning they need vitae from their progeny once they reach a certain level of strength.
The only vampire that's close to Witcher vampires would be Caine and his direct Antediluvian children.

Are they fags that don't reproduce?

The sparkly vampires are more powerful

No, they reproduce

Don't think so, they still bend themselves over human "masquerade", maybe with exception of Unseen Elder but he can be persuaded
They seem to be lesser problem than common ghouls and nekkers just because they're rational beings.

So are the bogdanoffs Witcher vampires or do the witcher vampires just serve them?

there are many different kinds of vampires
most are animals or easy to kill for witchers. then there are 'true vampires' that are basically living demigods
Sapkowski also made fun of the vampir thrope like garlic, sucking blood or a wood in the hearth. this one are literally immortal and only drink blood to party hard.

The vampires from Twilight are easily more powerful.

Only through Gary-Stu teen-girl plot armour

Alucard from Hellsing stomps

wow so subversive

truly the work of a genius

Then why arent there millions of them

Anne Rice's vamps are pretty strong. Lucien was burnt to something unrecognizable and his remains were tossed into a swamp but he still regenerated.

Although Anne's vampirism definitely has more curse to it than blessing.

Have Witcher vampires ever done anything comparable to Zapathasura's rampage across India during the week of nightmares?

Because the head vampire was waiting for the worlds to cross again so he could take his people home.
The only reason they haven't taken the fuck over is because their boss told them that they are guests in that world and that they should behave accordingly.

Seeing how a really powerful one got his bitch ass beat by a slightly empowered human, no.

So they are good guys?

Fuck no, they're super powerful but WoD vamps go from barely all that much stronger than an athlete into literal demigods that can turn into entire cities to swallow them whole.
Or network into an entire species in a singular moment.

They're less of a problem because the portal that opened from the vampire world opened in Toussaint. Pretty much all of the vampires on the continent live in Toussaint and many of them went into hiding after the humans chimped out because a vampire king was trying to genocide the humans. Most of them (like Regis) are peaceful and live amongst humans working normal trades.

*really autistic one
ftfy
the really powerfull one kills you in one second

No, there are all kinds. Some are good, some are cunts but most are fairly neutral and follow their boss' orders.
Their boss is also really homesick.

Is this an in-game screenshot? I don't remember Detlaff meeting Orphanage Mommy.

Thanks for the rundown lorefag

Because they have to. As Geralt said, all hell can be let loose but it will only catche the attention of the whole world. No matter if it will be lone knight errand or a party of border guards - the human will ger interested in vampires. And that's the worst thing that can meet vampires.

It's not about age it's about gen
If Cain sires a vampire in the modern age he would be stronger than millenary vampires
In the game you are new born vampire but your blood is pretty op which explains how you roll over everything

They bred humans and held them in cages, but they do try to stay low profile. Not really good guys, but also not keen on starting a war of the whole world against them.

the fucking what

The really powerful one is the Unseen Elder who causes Regis to be frozen and literally insta-kills Geralt if you annoy him too much.

At the end of the party quest he literally shows up right at the table with her and Regis. That's when he meets Anna Henrietta too.

low gen vampires in vtm are so broken they're only meant to be used in apocalypse scenarios.
