Marie's interactions are ALWAYS her being a cunt and being praised for it.
Kasumi appears more often, but is never "shoved down your throat". She is pleasant and endearing in her interactions without needing other characters constantly remark how funny and quirky Kasumi is. And in case you didn't like Kasumi anyways, her plot relevance ends after that one short spot in the third semester.

I thought it was kind of smart of them to only let the player see the conclusion of her arc if they go and do the final 5 ranks of her coop. It was a smart move at the end of the day she is just a normal girl who had to deal with a horrible situation and is there to give better understanding to Maruki's motives unlike Marie who was the only star in her stuff.

This girl single handed sold this game to me. I sunk 300 in vanilla 3 years ago and thought there was no way in fuck I would buy the same game again. But bored and quarantine I gave into my consumer whore side figuring it would at least keep me occupied before FFVIIR shipped.
