To those who aren't piraters Switch is a pretty damn unique experience. Xbox and PS has all the shit PC has with a few exceptions that they're either missing out on or won't be missed in the slightest. Nintendo on the other hand sells almost solely exclusives and some of those exclusives require specific controllers with certain abilities

Well, buying a PC and a PS/Xbox doesn't make much sense, while getting a PC and a Switch does. I don't care about it tho, I only wanted to play BotW but Cemu got me covered.

This because I can play Switch games on PC, so I'm always excited about Switch announcements

you can't emulate portability. the strongest (and most expensive) android phones will eventually emulate botw and stuff like that, but they aren't quite there yet. until then, the switch reigns supreme as the best retro handheld for emulation and portable console gaming, uncontested (i just wish the joycons didn't drift..)

Because Nintendo's Intellectual properties are one of the most sought after media in the world that are exclusive to their consoles. Their unique artstyle and unrelenting focus on good gameplay makes them unique unlike XBOX or PS.

Yuzu is still in early stages and most shit is broken or unplayable. There's also the portability factor which is basically the Switch's selling point.

Yuzu is not nearly as good as you make it to be and besides most of the appeal of the switch is playing semi-indie games like Gunvolt 3.

It's simple. Nothing Sony makes is worthwhile and anything worthwhile Microsoft makes is put on Windows. Nintendo makes good games that I either need to be emulated or simply played on their console.

i don't play outside either but i find playing while lying to my back comfier than sitting in front of a tv, also i have greater control of volume to not bother the rest of the family

The one thing the Switch can do that my PC can't do is be picked up and played anywhere, with modular controller support so I can play games with my friends.

PC + [Current gen Nintendo console] has always been a very good combo. In the past I would add something like PSP/Vita too for even more niche exclusives, but nowadays I guess Sony isn't going portable again.

Gumball is okay. It's a little bland and the humor is largely predictable, but it's better than half the other kid shit on TV these days. If I'm watching something with my kids, I'd rather it be Gumball than nu PowerPuff Girls.
Regular Show is better, but holy shit does it get repetitive. Half the episodes are basically the fucking same.
Adventure Time is alright when it's not getting up its own ass and taking itself way too seriously.

Xbox and Playstation are just shitty PC replacements, aside from Playstation's few worthwhile exclusives. Switch is at least unique enough, both in design and exclusives, that it provides a niche that can't really be fulfilled by the other platorms.

Gumball is (or rather was) by far the best show airing on CN once Regular Show ended, but that says more about the quality of the channel than anything else.
