A long time ago I would have whined about the boxart covers and now that I'm older I'm starting to enjoy how honest the American covers are. I guess this is what it means to be older than 25.

No retard, it means the left cover is more likely to grab your attention and represent what the game is about so you'll pick it up and hopefully buy it.

Not sure where the market research suggested that chucking a bunch of renders with varying opacity with a subtle spoiler was the best option.

At that point of the game the player is basically thrown in the deep-end after basic familiarisation with the controls, having to fend off a mob and getting chased by a guy with a chainsaw.
