Where are they?
Where are they?

They're now a skeleton team of a handful of people whose only job is to port Ikaruga to every console ever.
Sorry for the disappointment.
nowhere, sadly
Sin and Punishment SS was 11 years ago...
God i want a new one so bad
At least they ended their business on an okay note right?
Go to /vr/ old man, your kind isn’t welcome here
That's never happening. Not from them at least.
They’re gone, user...
Their last game was on the 3DS and released in 2014.
The employees are probably supporting other games behind the scenes, without credits listed. Or just have main jobs elsewhere
My wife..
Shake Shake
No, that would be if Radiant Silvergun was released on PC.
Development support only now, they just have no interest in making games.
Same fate as Tose, and Retro Studios, and soon Monolith Soft.
I wish Nintendo would let them make a Wario World 2
What were they thinking?
>giant titties are funny, lets make the enemies have helicopter tits that you pinch and smack around
there's your answer
It's on MAME
Monolith Soft is going to be rebooting parts 1 to 3 of Perfect Works until the sun dies out.
For me, it's Alien Soldier
This.
Easily their best game, and my favorite run-n-gunner. Still sad that we never got a new one.
I wish at least some indie devs picked up their platformer style. Mischief Makers, Silouhette Mirage and even Dynamite Headdy have this gimmick-centric gameplay with levels that are more set pieces than traditional platforming levels.
The closest I can think of is Iconoclasts, but it went with a "metroidvania" map for no reason instead of more objective levels and the lenghty story bits absolutely kill the pace of the game, so I don't know if I'd recommend it.
This is the correct answer. As far as I remember, Star Successor was their last brand new game, which very few people gave a shit about. I can't imagine they have much incentive to make new games after that
CAVE > Treasure
Why not both faggot?
Im still waiting for wario world 2
i hate the way how ninties vote with their wallets
It hurts bros...
Hell yeah.
Hey that's not true. They also exist to cash checks from Gunstar Heroes re-releases.
you and me both, friend. it would be amazing
They're not even remotely comparable, Treasure's appeal was that they'd make games across several genres and they always had a cool innovative hook that made them stand out, like Ikaruga's polarity switching. CAVE is just a shmup maker.

Saxbros, here we go
I wish I had infinite money to fund all the Treasure projects I want. I'd drown you fuckers in a new Mischief Makers, a definitive version of Silhouette Mirage and a sequel, Alien Soldier with all of its cut content and a Dynamite Headdy remake in the style of the claymation commercial.
I wouldn't recommend Iconoclast either even though I do wanna go back and finish it someday. I would recommend Konjack's other action games though Noitu Love 2 and Legend of Princess might be what you're looking for especially NL2.
>a definitive version of Silhouette Mirage
thanks for reminding me of all the shit working designs pulled
>tfw have an autistic note document chock full of what a Kirby Super Star Ultra level upgrade for Silhouette Mirage would be like. But have to live with the fact that it will literally never happen.
Goddamn I wish I didn't fall in love with obscure niche shit only like 5 other people care about.
Short version
Its a ghost ship of a game dev
Long version
Capcom commissioned them to make an action beat em up for the 3DS as a tie in for a new anime/manga/toyline thing in japan. Everyone involved thought they had a big hit on their hands.
It bombed hard.
So hard that Treasure was pretty much crippled by it. They get by on porting old games, and they haven't even done that in a while.
Mischief Makers, Silhouette Mirage, and Dynamite Headdy are some of the most fascinating games I've ever played
