It had a good run with a lot of good games. It had some mediocre games like the Lords of Shadow ones but it's mostly been good. Bloodstained will carry the torch since IGA wants both style of games to be alive, so it's not like we're completely out of options.

There isn't much to correct in CV. The main characters are always moralfags and the plot is usually pretty simplistic. The only thing they could really do is add minority characters, which isn't really an issue for the setting given the likely scenario would be in 1999 or even modern, where those characters wouldn't be particularly unusual.

He's not perfect but I think Isaac is probably the character that came out best in that adaptation. I think the new one is a more interesting character than OG Isaac was who was just a flamboyant evil guy. I have far more complaints about Trevor, Alucard and Hector than him. Grant isn't even fucking there. Dracula I'm mixed on, some parts are really good but he wasn't nearly threatening enough or enough of a villain.

S3 is mostly filler. It had the same problems of S2 where they switch to multiple perspectives and never stick to one character's arc, every character must have some story in 10 episodes, the pacing is so slow until episode 8 through 10 where they blazingly go through the plot and in the end it didn't fucking matter in the grand scheme of things. Doesn't help that Ellis actually doesn't give a fuck and want it to be a GoT style show.
Demon Castle War 1999? I'm joking, even if Konami made that game, it wouldn't live up to the hype.
