To be honest the game seems to be trying too hard to make Katherine seem like a bitch, and while Catherine was all fun and sexy at first, she also seems to just be being kind of bitchy now

There are walkthroughs for pretty much every stage on every difficulty you can look up if you don't consider that cheating.

Bought the game yesterday and never played the original, I'm genuinely finding it fucking challenging. I'm not great at games like this though. I'm on the stage 6 boss now.

No first-timer should start with the Fullbody. It's shitty as fuck compared to OG.

The game is piss easy, it only gets somewhat challenging in the final stages and the ice stages are annoying.

The whole game is "better" for returning players.
First timers are ruining the whole experience with the Rin butting into every single scene and fucking up the group chemistry and gameplay.

I like that this started as just a friendly talk about the game but one particular user seems intent on just shoving their unasked for opinion in others' faces.
Remix is fun when you get used to how to climb in original mode.

I'm retarded when it comes to these types of games.
The game tells you all the tricks you need to succeed and so long as you remember them you should never have issue.

I don't know, It seems fine to me, but I never played the original. I can see how Rin's inclusion would have definitely altered the flow of the original with Kat vs Cat, but I still like the story a lot so far.

fatlus never pushes the hardware so it'd probably be pretty simple to get it working on yuzu with some minor work.

Not like I was going for a specific ending, but still, kinda bummed, only one I really like so far. Probably gonna end up with some shitty bad end.

Without going into spoilers, I'd probably say the Rin route has more of the divisive endings anyway, probably better to not be on that route first time around.

There kinda already is with Catherine Classic, you really aren't missing much if you go with Classic.

The stages are exactly the same. FB only has more clutches for casuals in the easier modes (protip: if you're so "hardcore" at Catherine you should be playing hard from the start, anyways), but otherwise it's untouched; it even focuses more in lateral thinking puzzles with the arranged stages in the new mode, making it MUCH more challenging than anything in the classic.
I don't know why anyone would go out of their way to disingenuously mention that, yes, items are easier to use on normal mode (but there's none in hard! no undoes either!) and the controls aren't complete ass in the re-release. No shit, fucktard, how about you actually play the content that matters aimed at your skill level if you're that much of a hardcore gaymer??

False. They only resemble the originals at first glance. All the items are way more OP, you can knock enemies off in all new ways, Rin's piano is outright OP addition.
