I thought this game was extreme comfy slavic soul and sitting together with the squad having russian anime dub dialogue was great. They really understood the fucking bratye. True brotherhood and camraderie between men can only be understood by nations that hate faggots.
However, I can never forgive the ending that didn't allow me to keep chilling in the train with the BOIS at least one last time

The Metro games are better as linear story games. Exodus suffered from going open world.

I felt so bad about getting the bad ending that I immediately replayed the game from the beginning to not let you down

It didn't go open world though. Including the intro, there's four linear sequences and two sandbox style mini world's. It's still a linear, narrative game, but about 40% of it lets you explore more. It was a good design decision.

Exodus isn't open world. Did you even play the game?

Really enjoyed this game on my first play though. I have both the DLCs but I can't for the life of me muster a replay out of it.
