How about they acquire good studios? Or how about they go back to the 360 days of when XBox had good Japanese games? That was when the Halo & COD box meme was at its height and you could still play good JRPGs and even play some fucking shmups.

it was an interesting conversation but games have hit a fucking wall bigtime. what is Halo going to do differently in the FPS genre that no other game has done before? unless 343i takes something like Halo 1,2,3 and REFINES THE SHIT out of them into a game fans actually want i dont see INFINITE wowing anyone. i dont want a studio who isnt old rare tackling a perfect dark game, the last thing i need is a redhead lara craft simulator where she explores her dark past at a spy agency and cries all the time. i dont need a Tim Schaefer led conker where he talks about trans rights and yells about internet trolls. Or even worse a half baked Banjo Kazooie remaster that isnt nearly as fun as the originals and basically just an n64 UNREAL 4 reskin.
Id love for them to bring old franchises out of hiding but i have very little faith in them doing justice to them, the only thing they have going for them is everyone is currently looking for the next big trend since fortnite is dying down.
