Great. It still didn't go over well for that game because of this. The studio shut down after the scandal.
My understanding was that it was banned in the UK and then, when the government reviewed it they saw it was all bullshit and removed the ban.

Remothered tormented fathers is the first game. It was a remake of the first Clock Tower but they made it a new game. It's like Haunting Ground, not as good as that one but I enjoyed it until certain point. The story was good though and the Red Nun was terrifying.
You can even see clock tower references like Jennifer and even the girl in the sequel has a similar design.
First game is too short though you can watch a waltrkough if you want. Sequel looks even better, it's a love for Clock Tower/Haunting Ground/Rule of Rose fans, the creators are fans of those games.
In the sequel you have to escape from more than one enemy at the same time

It's about a medicine that can erase your memories. Richard (the old man) is actually a woman. Her real name is Jennifer but her father forced her to live like a man (Richard), splitting her personalities in 2. By being a man Jennifer/Richard could marry with a rich wife apparently.
Celeste is the girl they adopted. But Richard/Jennifer started to be jealous of Celeste because she reminder her/him what could have been if her father didn't force her to be a man. So Richard started to call her Jennifer. Celeste escaped. The ending tells you the place where the sequel will be.
Rosemary (the protagonist) was one of the nuns who survived alongside with Gloria. They were also subjects from the drug that erases your memories.
There are more things that I guess it will be explained in the sequel
