I enjoyed Far Cry 5 a lot too. Probably helps that I hadn't played any Ubisoft games in years prior so I wasn't tired on the formula.

Likely gender neutral with "body type" option that is a paper thinly disguised gender option. I kinda wish Far Cry would just have a female lead, ditch the co-op bullshit, and tell a story that could only be told from the perspective of a female resistance fighter. This is an underrated post. Every Far Cry game after Blood Dragon released has just felt like a worse version of Far Cry 3 but with better graphics, to the point that like, typecasting aside, I already know what Giancarlo Esposito's gimmick is going to be as a Villain. Not a knock against the actor for me, he's good at his job, it's the fact that the writers will likely have no imagination and make him the cold calculated villain type because they watched breaking bad once, kinda like how everyone tells steve blum to do the Spike Spiegel voice even though blum has a lot of range as an actor.
