game gets leaked and now people stop talking about it, did enough people finally realize it was shit and stop pretending it would be good for no reason other than it was a switch game?
Game gets leaked and now people stop talking about it...
i'm honestly amazed they managed to make a worse game than sticker star
Yes
Honestly I'm glad nuPM keeps leaking absurdly early these past few entries, makes shills give up much faster than usual and probably stops a lot of naive people from buying them.
unfortunately some people weren't convinced until it was actually playable to see it was trash.
i could tell day 1 when it still had that stench of color splash on its breath
looks fun, but i'm not into paper mario or have switch. only played super paper mario years ago because why not since i had wii.
but from that screenshot it looks fun. imagine being made of paper and color pencils will try to mess you
that fun will wear out pretty quickly around the fifth time the game makes you watch mario run circles for a full fucking minute before you get to actually attack.
most of the complaints come from how fucked the battle system is, the pencils are stupid but if fighting them was actually fun it'd be excusable.
but they fucking aren't, the puzzle shit sucks
Are you actually retarded?
Anything can happen, user, no matter the odds.
no, just soldered modchip to wii so i tended to play most major releases when they "leaked". so ended up playing super paper mario
For those who actually played it... is it ACTUALLY worse than Sticker Star?
I mean, I don't doubt it's bad, but Sticker Star was a pretty low bar.
Is it actually worse than Sticker Star or worse in the fact that after all this time it's still Sticker Star with a new coat of paint?
I‘ll make shitposting threads once i‘ve finished it, don‘t worry
The battles play out very similarly later on. You buy power ups that are basically stickers again. Then add on the line them up/run in the circle time waste on top of those.
Partners are only for certain times in the story/you don't keep and get to swap through them. Coins drop super easy from the world and battles to where you probably will never need to grind for any coins/look for extra battles.
They made it worse than sticker star.
I never played sticker star but I've played about the first 3 hours of origami king, after about the 5th battle shit gets old really fucking fast to where I just avoided every encounter I could but there is forced encounters you can't run away from
It's sticker star with less personally, and more talking office equipment.
Not even I thought it would be this bad, and I dropped it from the start.
Who was in the wrong here?
Do you even need powerups? I‘m still very early but normal hammer and boots attack one hit kill enemies even without action commands
It's like the other paper games, as time goes on gimmick enemies will show up, have more hp or resistances. Like flying/spike goombas.
I know there were some ice shoes, so probably fire enemies at some point
Oh no, he's going to spend 60 dollars. That'll show us who think different from him! Grrr Stop
Do people like this really exist,
People that buy games they won't play just to spite strangers on the internet?
I can only recall a guy buying a bunch of Amiibo just to destroy them.
JUST
I always thought Snoys were the biggest consoomers, but after seeing people eat up Pokemon and TOK I don't know anymore.
what do you think arlo will feel when he plays this game he was naively optimistic for, for no reason mind you
how the hell did this game get leaked already
I don't even get this mindset. You're just further proving that people buying it aren't really fans of the series
If you remember it was a hot thing to do years ago to get console at launch and then destroy it in front of the line for youtube views.
He's already said on Twitter that all of his hype has died.
Please just stop making these games and let my childhood rest in peace
Yes. I can't think of anything more pathetic and piety then doing something just to spite people you've never met or who will never know you even did it. Your burning money for the self satisfaction of knowing it goes to people that some random guy you hate dislikes.
I don't understand people like that.
It's like the people that inject poison into food at Wal-Mart, people who purposefully get really really sick so they can spread it, and people that play the knockout game.
What makes a person do shit like this?
Evil ideals are incomprehensible to me.
Money
Imagine living such a miserable uneventful life where doing something like that is such a high point it feels like a victory for you to get smug over.
People gave up hope, simple enough. That and people are still playing the leak if they hadn't given up.
I never played through the first chapter of SS but what I've played so far isn't as grating as CS, though the dial puzzles get repetitive pretty quick. Writing is on the same level pretty much.
The numbers are inflated to almost have no meaning. It's not worth getting a first hit in on the overworld unless the enemy is weak enough that you don't have to battle, or you don't want to bother with the puzzle and attack with normal damage but that just draws it out.
Thing is, you get a ton more coins from battling than the overworld and everything costs around 500-3000 coins so far. The lack of exp is actually the least of my worries, considering I've given up thinking of this as an RPG. Still not enough to make me buy a Sticker Star game.
I should mention weapons are closer to the 500 range while accessories (badge-like stat upgrades) go for the 2000-3000 range.
>Wot if there were real looking things
>But in 3D
Why in the world do they keep doing this?
>combat only gives coins that you get showered with
>only use for them are toads helping you hit the enemy or throw moves and items which just makes things even more piss poor easy
>moves are easy to buy since they're not all that expensive
>just do a few fights and get enough coins to buy what you need and can just ignore a bunch of fights
Holy hell how do you manage to fuck up so bad where the combat can be easily ignored with no consequences. Who could have thought that maybe something like an XP system would have given an actual reason to fight them constantly
That's what I wanna know. Anons are already playing it and showing screenshots of progressions in yesterday thread
>Holy hell how do you manage to fuck up so bad where the combat can be easily ignored with no consequences
Sticker star and color splash had this problem
