Running with Rifles is absolute shit. Death is completely meaningless and all the weapons might as well be toys.

No. The devs are retards and keep driving the playerbase away with their idiotic updates. It's just cheap enough to keep getting new blood, but no one sticks around for long.

Bought this game a few years ago, spawned in and was immediately greeted by the sounds of a dozen literal screeching brazillians in voice chat. Instantly refunded it.

It was fun, the tanks and armored pushes with intense fights and shit infantry combat but doable with mixed support

Now its just infantry and a shitton of meddling requisites in logistics to do anything worthwhile

Tank warfare round based combat with trucks supporting a company of 5 tanks, roughly 30 people per team in a small but not so small map would be great

Wish there was a game that combined two. The bots could handle the logistics and you can order them to build fortifications. Essentially a RTS game where you take part in the battle. The ability to add mods is also a plus for Running with Rifles.

Foxhole is almost great but mever quite

The logistics is vast and autistic, but the combat on foot is arse, you cant see shit cause the isometric view is too close and youre always shooting at corners, or dying to stray bullets.

I had fun with Foxhole for the first few weeks after launch, before it got infested with autistic clanniggers. Left around the point when people started getting into huge bitchwars over quartermasters and never looked back.

You can pirate RWR and play with bots and do whatever you want. Foxhole is a multiplayer only game.

Battlezone 98 is awesome, i remember having it on a demo disc back in the day.
Eventually i bought the redux edition, but haven't found the time to actually play it.

Running with Rifles can be played with bots whilst Foxhole is exclusively multiplayer. Foxhole has players handle logistics which involves driving long distances to and from the front lines and you can build fortifications. You can think of it as Project Reality: top down edition. Running with rifles plays more like Battlefield. You spawn on squad members or control points and fight over the latter. There are transport vehicles that allow you to swap out gear but most of the time you'll either scavenge or just die and respawn. If you don't like clannigers yelling at you because you don't take their pretend war seriously and you just wanna shoot people play Running with Rifles. It also has mod support as bonus.
