Favorite Dark Souls and why

The first, because it's the only good one

all of them, fuck you

2 because I love it's pvp.

2 forever

3 because graphics and its the one I'm closest to beating for the first time

At first I thought 1, but after playing 3, I think 3 is superior.
3 just has so much better stuff going for it

>weapon arts
>FP bar
>can move while healing
>charged heavy attacks
>no shitty second half (lost izalith, tomb of giants, bed of chaos/ceasless discharge, etc)

Bloodborne > DS3 > DS > DS2

FPBP
Inb4 b-but the second half meme
Still better the unfinished patchworks that were the sequels

2 build variety and viability. More of a fantasy setting too

1, because most enjoyable pvp.

Ah yeah I forgot DS1 doesn't have charged R2

For me, it’s Bloodborne.

DaS1, DaS3 feels too linear and something about the animations of DaS2 felt offputting.

>Inb4 b-but the second half meme

It's a meme the same way that saying the sky is blue is a meme. Get as frustrated by it as you want, it's the truth.

DaS1 because it’s the only Miyazaki wanted to make.

3 for how much I love the look of some of the levels (Look mind you, not the resultant level design of them) and the dread they instill (the track “Secret Betrayal” helps evoke this when you return to Firelink)

1 for the strength of its design and the novelty of that first leap into the Miyazaki style of gameplay

2 for the enjoyable combat and more refined control schema and the comfy hub world.

I like ‘em all for varied reasons and would be hard pressed to say which one I’d play given the day.

I like both ds1 and ds2 for different reasons. DS1 is undoubtedly the better out of the two, whereas I had a lot more fun in DS2 and spent longer in ds2 as well.

3 is the best one
I played them all this year for the first time, 1 is good, didn't bother finishing 2 and 3 was really good.
1 has too many parts that are "that part" of the game, like the crystal cave

>crystal cave is "that" part
Explain, it was one of the more straightforward areas

>DS1 is undoubtedly the better out of the two, whereas I had a lot more fun in DS2 and spent longer in ds2 as well.

well yes that's what I just said

I only played FROM games for the first time this year

DS1 and Sekiro are great games

I sincerely tried and wanted to get into 2 and 3 but couldn't do it,

2, I don't need a reason

Nope and it's still not as bad as most people meme it no matter how much they parrot it.

is everyone in Zig Forums filled with kids who must contradict literally everything ?

there is one crystal that is more slippery than the others for no reason, you have to walk it to get to the dragon, just dying cuz the game suddenly decided to make one crystal more slippery with nothing to indicate it is pretty retarded, it might be straight forward for you if you already know where to go, but I did it for the first time last month and it was annoying, same shit with the bed of chaos boss, just annoying shit that has no reason to be there.

ds3, the improvements to the combat make it way better than the other two despite its flaws. ds2 does not even deserve to be in contention with how it both feels like complete shit to play, has the worst areas and lore, and literally no good bosses.

Not him but

>Icicle is divided into left and right sections, the right side you can run across with ease, the left side looks identical
>Step on the left side and slip to your death at the speed of sound after six minutes of carefully inching your way across invisible platforms
>The 4 clams in front of the boss are legitimately 6 to 10 times more difficult than the boss itself
>Do I kill the fucking butterflies or not??
>Where do I go, where the fuck do I go

Never again.

It's an extremely fair question. Take your meds schizo. Why do you think one game is better than another game you had much more fun in and spent more time with. It could have easily led to an interesting explanation instead of fury and confusion.

ds3 is unplayable to me because the anti aliasing or something isn't working, there's like flickering lights/faraway textures make my eyes and head hurt. It's thing Ive noticed in a several games., DS1 DS2 and Sekiro don't have this but DS3 does, i actually would probably enjoy the game if not for it being an eyesore to look at.

Based.

use Supersampling, you can set that on the nvidia control panel if you have an nvidia card

Huh, I guess I got lucky because I always tend to stick to the right side of things, I've never slipped.
>the clams
Yeah I legitimately just ran past them because I recognized them from Ash Lake
>getting lost
Again, I can see how it'd happen but I think I either got lucky or maybe I depended a lot on the message soapsigns to spell it out for me.

Can anyone confirm how Dark Souls remastered plays with keyboard and mouse? Is it as good as Sekiro?

I believe Sekiro is the best FROM game but Zig Forums as a whole probably rate DS1 and BB higher.

The first, because it's easy.
I'm much more into progressing and exploring than playing Simon Says with bosses.
Most DaS1 bosses can be whacked to death and it's more like a fun safari than a trial of learning each boss attack.
I like the weird bosses and I love the interconnected world which makes starting a new game much more fun than in the other two.
2 makes me angry all the time and 3 is derivative and linear.
I'm trying out Demon's Souls now and I like it because it feels like more DaS1.
