How did you fix the audio?

Attached: 87644665466.jpg (2552x1506, 353.97K)

piratechads just tell us, is the game shit?

Nothing anyone says is going to change your mind, so why even ask?

Did they fixed black screens?
BGM is the least issue.

I pre ordered it, but the treehouse stream made me reconsider everything

Anyone using Ryujinx, any way to fix the audio stutters? Already have the latest openAL

>I pre ordered it,
what a fuckin retard

yeah, those are just the shaders. Fix those by turning on Vulkan

It is Color Splash 2
Take of that as you will

Cancel it, trust me

Got it for 10 bucks less than normal price, and I can still cancel it.

LOL

Why?

If you want an RPG with decent combat on the Switch there are games that dwarf anything even TTYD has to offer.

bringing this up from last thread the moment it was past bump limit
>i remember somebody mentioning this in the first few threads, but was bowser jr making a floss reference a real thing?

Attached: 1532772436950.jpg (900x900, 154.39K)

I think game doesn't boot with Vulkan on my side.
Gonna check tomorrow again.

Attached: Base Profile Screenshot 2020.07.11 - 11.36.18.45.png (1920x1080, 3.56M)

Of course it's shit. Even before the leaks there was nothing to imply it was any good.

Color Splash was fuckin fantastic.

Literally who

>Three PM games in a row with pointless combat
>THREE GAMES

Attached: Eggman_Angry.png (841x849, 955.85K)

Why, because of visuals?
Sure, TOK has that too, enjoy.

Hot tip: The combat in every Paper Mario game is pointless because the games are so easily broken.

how does switch emulation work

yuzu site says i need a switch and bunch of other bullshit but can i just download those files like ps2 emulator where i dont need my own bios and i can just steal it?

Attached: 4.png (491x546, 422.68K)

I know and I already have DQ XI and Xeno1 and 2.
Point is, I want paper mario because it has its own charm.
A simple rpg, sure, but with its own distinct feeling that makes it so much different from any other rpg.
More than that though, I just want another good PM game, I don't care if it is a rpg or whatever else, I liked 1, 2 and Super.
I was hoping that TOK was going to be different from 1 and 2, but at least good.
Instead it looks like sticker star 3, and this makes the series officially dead in terms of quality.

Because of visuals, OST, plot and overall gameplay.
PM series is low tier jrpgs anyway and I do not expect actual deep combat.

Make sure Multicore CPU emulation and asynchronous emulation are disabled too

Shut the fuck up guys and focus on the important things.
Is the soundtrack ripped yet?

It's not about being able to cheese it or not, it's about the combat being important. You could always build an overpowered danger mario build but you had to actually build it and you had to actually perform well in battles. In battles, you could make choices that'd affect the outcome and let you express yourself as a player.

In nu PM, there's only one way to play: solve puzzle, ooga booga jump/hammer, win in one turn.

>all these references to SS and CS
>the toad captain's theme is literally just ripped from CS
Why didn't Tanabe just make a new Mario series name with a different artstyle instead of associating it with PM if he hates the first three games so damn much. Stupid fuck

Color Splash was fine, it just didn't have the combat mechanics.

I just wanted Bowser as a partner....

you need "keys" to verify that you own a switch and that you aren't pirating. you can find someone else's keys in a search

Visually the game looks fantastic and the games music from what I've heard is also nice. That doesn't really make me want to buy it though. Probably just gonna watch a stream of it

>Drop stars on enemy
>Blow them all up with Bobbery
>win

The games were piss easy. Hell you could go the entire TTYD without taking damage.

look up yuzu no switch on youtube

>>Drop stars on enemy
>>Blow them all up with Bobbery
So, use two very late game powers that eat up all your flower and star points? Sounds like a good plan

Might I recommend Bowser's Inside Story, aka the best Mario RPG?

How the fuck do you fix the audio

Played, beaten, loved.

Attached: Menu-Save.png (640x480, 206.97K)

>Use up all your Star Power and FP
>What now, genius?

Attached: die.jpg (195x250, 4.93K)

Only on battles you need to fight. You don't need to fight everyone. The ONLY reason to level up is badge points.

I love how you faggots suddenly love Super Paper Mario.

thanks

You've never played any PM game have you?

Attached: 1456166084450.jpg (360x240, 14.11K)

They grew up with the Wii, user. In another 4 or so years it will be "The first four paper mario games were the only good ones" when 3ds nostalgia is a real thing.

If you don't level up enough, you won't have enough HP/FP/BP to let you spam AoE attacks and Bobbery's big bang. But if you spam those, you won't have enough HP/FP/BP to win those fights, which means you won't be able to level up.

Also, you won't be able to use those for like 3/4th of the game either way.

Superguard makes TTYD trivial.

If you want a action adventure with decent exploration on the Switch, there’s already a Mario game that dwarfs anything Color Splash 2 has to offer.
Strange how I don’t see anyone calling that out but are quick to do so only when it’s about RPGs...

Shut the fuck and help troubleshoot

>Attack Power up because you didn't finish the battle in 1/2 turns
>Getting called a retard by a game for infants

Why play Mario Odyssey when you can play Breath of the Wild?

As a kid I was really dumb and skipped tutorials and didnt even know supergaurd was a thing. Later I replayed it and also skipped tutorials because I already played the game and did a BP only run without even supergaurding. The games gives you a TON of wiggle room.
Master Quest and Master Quest Jr. to me is still the most fun paper mario experience though

It's definitely overpowered, but you still need to get the timing right (which is way harder for some monsters) and you can still play without it.

Either way, it's not about the odds of losing in TTYD, most players won't have more than 1, 2, maybe 3 game overs in the entire game. It's about having to make actual decisions that involve PLAYING THE GAME instead of rotating enemies, jumping on lines, hammering squares.

Superguard is undeniably a bad mechanic. If you can do it, every other part of battle is irrelevant.

I haven't actually replayed SPM in years, i'm sure playing it now would taint some of my past enjoyment but I do remember having a nice time with some of the chapters. Plus you can't deny that at least SPM takes place in the same universe and tone as 64 and TTYD, shit gameplay or not

Attached: 1593774415353.png (750x1334, 606.02K)

I hated it when it came out, but compared to what we have now I'd gladly take a super paper mario 2.

I refuse to even touch this game because of how it has Sticker Star combat again, but the art direction of this looks really nice

Ready to apologize anons?

Attached: mr l.jpg (290x400, 18.35K)

Again, because the games are so broken, the decisions are rarely more than trivial. About half of the partners are completely useless without excessive badge stacking.

You mean that little tech you can do that takes more precise timing than regular guard and even then doesn't nullify everything depending on the enemy?
Still takes a bit more effort than throwing coins on everything or solving baby-mode puzzles for rewards you can get easier and more plentiful by hammering the land.

Sorry your gameplay is so bad. I love so many ideas SPM puts forward, but it's just not fun to play.

>change to bowser
>press down
>every fight in the game is trivialized

>Change to defense ignoring partners
>Attack
>Every fight in the game is trivalized

why some people are so stupid to buy something before they know if it's good or not?

The decisions aren't trivial because the enemies usually don't die in one turn (unless you've boosted your Mario pretty high and use some expensive AoE attacks). Just because you have a lot of escape doors like superguarding doesn't mean the fights are instantly done and you have to actually optimize the way you attack your enemies to take them down the most efficiently, it's not a single shitty line puzzle

>tfw they dropped Kammy in Super

Attached: 1531441466351.jpg (818x960, 103.29K)

>half of the partners are completely useless without excessive badge stacking
Lol no, maybe Flurrie, but even she can be quite good as a tank/healer. Ms. Meowz is a bit useless but she's a bonus partner. Every other partner is useful.

SPM I still think has the best story and antagonists but man was everything else a let down.

>every NPC is a weird geometric shape, sometimes it looks good (like Count Bleck's gang + Francis ) and most times it looks shit (literally everything else)
>Items are practically useless
>Most Pixels are practically useless outside of contextual useages
>No partners
>No difficulty
>Barebones platforming which doesn't feel as fun or nice as other Mario games
>Chapter fucking 5 in all its awful backtracking glory.

Attached: 1416362430093.png (458x438, 239.75K)

No, you triple nigger, I fucking hate that they took the fucking PLATFORMING BOWSER SEGMENTS from TTYD and used that as a basis to make a platforming Paper Mario, it was fucking retarded then and it still is today, no matter how good the plot and music are.

Even Ms Mowz can be useful for ignoring defense

Yoshi is completely worthless against enemies with defense, which almost every enemy in the game has.
