Why is COH2 such a piece of shit edition
RTS Thread
Russian Bias, no NatSoc Symbols, shit mechanics
Why couldn't they balance Warcraft 3 after so many years?
The Human vs Undead match up is not only STILL unplayable but with the new patch they made it even WORSE. You cannot contest jackshit anymore. Undead expo is always guaranteed.
Exlain
why would you play the remake?
>no NatSoc Symbols
Seriously?
>no NatSoc Symbols
>Symbols

Fucking "Deutsche Bias". We're men of culture, not emotion.

CoH series fucking rules, I'm too busy raging at the CnC rehamstered AI right now. OP is a faggot. xoxo
>CoH series fucking rules

Anyone wanna play coh2? It's dogshit but maybe its fun if you play with someone else.
WC3 is doomed to be imbalanced forever by design. Too bad if a Warcraft 4 came out, it would have heroes in it.
warcraft is shit anyways
'no'
wc2 had so much soul
Anyone up for some aoe2?
does fallout tactics count?
Should I do Homeworld or DoW1's campaign first?
What a soulless peace of shit times we live in. No more RTS games, no more E3, no innovation.
homeworld is kinda meh
CoH2 is fine for the skirmish games. Never bothered with the campaign and picking commanders is annoying but it's okay.
>Why is COH2 such a piece of shit edition
the biggest reason is that the engine or core programming or whatever does not support the gameplay of an rts, and this results in a shitton of bugs that will never be fixed: mortars that get stuck when given an order, MGs that won't set up unless you babysit them, units that move up to cover but not into cover unless you babysit them, vehicles that move over some tiny obstacle and lose all their speed....
Explosions aren't as great compared to the first one.
>Developer: Relic Enterta
Yep.
What's the best way to play Z? The Steam and GOG versions are shitty ports. Is there a remake with QoL features somewhere?
commanders as dlc is total cancer
This.
THIS.
I just played a bunch of Twisted Insurrection 0.8, finally got to see what the Nod mission where you have to destroy 4 globotech armories is supposed to be like when it's not bugged to be the fucking 15th circle of hell.
>Russian Bias
That game trashed on the Russians no stop. It straight up showed the Russians in a worse light then the Nazis (you didnt seen the Germans in Opposing Fronts killing their own men when they should be giving medals out)
and the Germans straight up had superior equipment for the same cost. The MG42 and Pak 38 was so much better at release then the soviet weapons despite the same cost.
That game was German bias for years, until the OKW came out and it was OKW bias
>edition
Anybody here plays They Are Billions? Having trouble with 50 days challenge highlands. Having no chokepoints weakens the thanatos and I don't think I have time for titans.
how are they shitty?
Are the missions worth playing through if I don't really like the new units?
there appears to be like a general rule in ww2 games where the german factions are newbie friendly and generally some degree of overpowered, but german players will still bitch about everything because they're all wehraboos trying to live a power fantasy and they get mad when the game tries to get fair with them. both german factions are baby mode easy to play in coh 2 while soviets, USF and UK have to do all sorts of weird shenanigans to stay competitive. i don't think the balance is too bad nowadays but germans are still a thousand times easier to play than any allied faction.
it's kinda the same thing in war thunder. german tanks are ridiculously overpowered compared to what other nations have at the same tier. a fucking 76mm sherman is valued at the same tier as a fucking tiger, even though the sherman is considerably worse in like 9/10 of metrics. and yet, german players bitch the most about how allied tanks are op.
>try to boot Dark Reign 2 gog release
>shits up my graphics card
I just wanted to try it out bros.
Just read the reviews on the store page. Everyone says it's terrible
Really wish Zig Forums would start playing sudden strike..
As someone who played Dark Reign 2 when it came out I can tell you the units are pretty boring, and the pathfinding makes SC1 and C&C1 look like achieving chim and becoming one with the universe.
Yeah I recall the missions being pretty high quality for the most part. Especially now that they've fixed a couple of bugs that made every mission vs globotech in the previous version into 2 hours of cbt.
Also I think some of the new units are fun, like the Nod engineer is also a hijacker.
