unironically nothing wrong with that pic
I play games to have fun, not to get frustrated and angry
being a npc
>guy isn't good at games
>sets the difficulty to his level to make them challenging but not frustrating
>So bad he gets frustrated playing on Normal
Loser
It's never hard on normal I've never needed to go below that.
If that's what he enjoys, that's fine. I personally look to be challenged.
There is nothing wrong with an easy mode in video games unless:
1: The developers decide to lower the overall difficulty of the game so it is easy for everyone making it boring and dull
2: Adding an easy mode defeats the overall purpose and vision of the game the developers wanted to make.
Those terrible games where normal is a cakewalk and hard makes enemies into sponges.
I don't, but some people do.
What's wrong with being "bad" at games? Why do you care?
>stockpile
>~20 games
lmao
desu he's right when it comes to Sony games. They're mostly movies that are meant to be enjoyed at a relaxing pace.
>redditor is a gay retard
Not surprising
>Difficulty levels have been around since forever
>We're suddenly supposed to be mad about people using them now
Fuck off
i play on normal but when there's a puzzle or something i dont get i immediately look up a walkthrough for the answer. honestly thinking of starting to play on easy mode too, sounds more fun
This guy is a moron. He needed a coworker's input in something he should have discovered himself.
I've had fun playing games that were too challenging. I've never had fun playing games that were too easy.
Playing games on anything other than normal is a waste unless it's something skill based like rhythm games. Change my view.
I always play games on easy mode because I cannot stand to lose.
theres nothing wrong with playing on easy mode just means you lack cognitive thinking skills
So many fags missing the point of difficulty sliders in general. The guy clearly has a hard time with games, moreso than the average ebin gaymer. If easy provides the playable challenge for him that normal or hard would provide for you or I, he's more or less getting the same challenge we get without feeling like the game is straight-up filtering him. Being a snob about how people play videogames has to be one of the most pathetic traits people have on this board.
Go cry about it retard
>White people can't even handle playing games on normal
My fucking sides.
>game only has normal and hard
>normal is actually easy difficulty
>hard is actually normal difficulty
I can kinda agree with this. I like difficulty but not to the point where it just feels fucking dumb. Bioshock was a good example. I like to play normal because it makes the enemies able to take a few hits but on hard you lose eve a lot faster, enemies are fucking sponges that take forever to kill, and I overall have less room to try fun builds. Still, its fine for games not to have difficulty settings.
Its fine as long as it doesn't turn into "OMG this game is too hard, they need to make a easy mode for meeeeeee" like so many bitch boy journalist do.
what a shitty mindset
if you're bad at something you put in the effort to become good at it
thinking you can only do something if it's easy leads to never growing up and improving yourself
its because average gamer is lazy and wont put effort into learning how to play the game properly.
Single player video games are not very challenging regardless of difficulty.
That's the fucking weird part, because what games are you people are talking about?
Normal people put game on the hardest setting not because they like losing but because even idea or possibility of losing barely exist in like all games of the last decade.
And often all that changes is that enemies becoem bullet spongy, same 0 possibility of losing but now it takes that much more time.
What games are those guys playing to "lose 10 times and get stuck on a single level"? Ye everyone should set shit to their own level, but games set "ultra nightmare dante must die extreme pain" as what would be considered "normal" just two decades ago. That ain't game if you need to actively try to lose to not succeed. Failure states and requiring minimum imput from the player is what makes it a video game and not a movie or gambling.
He sounds like someone who doesn't even enjoy actually playing the games and just sees them as something to beat as quickly as possible so he can move on and consoom the next one.
Yeah, if it's a game advertised as being fucking hard as balls, I agree.
But if it's literally any other game then nah, make different difficulties.
Did this Redditor not know that difficulty options existed until his co-worker brought it up?
Bros, how did he know? We should've listened to him.
I do this all the time so I don't need to upgrade or collect anything
Nothing would be wrong if you people stayed silent about it. You end up opening your stupid mouths and hurting video game quality as a whole.
You can become better at a game while having fun.
The latter is not true.
I always set the game to the hardest difficulty so I only have to play through once
video game quality video game quality n 2020
challenge is what makes life interesting
This is why video games are dying
What if the person wants to get good at things in real life? Most people play games to have fun, not to be le ebin xXx_mlg|420_xXx pro gaymerâ„¢
Sperg all you want but that man tellls the truth
Why the hell do you guys even like hard mode the first place , it's not even fun , what because hard work = satisfaction ,or do you let your family down that much and want to "prove" that you're not basically a walking sack of meat that eats anything that your family worked so hard for?
>NOOOOOOOOOO YOU CANT JUST USE MECHANICS OF THE GAME THE WAY THEY ARE MEANT TO BE USED NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>game has difficulty options
>devs obviously didn't give a fuck about how anything except normal works
>even less of a fuck if the game was rushed (just like they all are)
