I guess Minerva's Den is nice if you are into those sort of hard sci-fi stories. Even then it's only good for the story, Bioshock 1 is just not a particularly fun game to play and Bioshock 2's biggest issue is that it fails to improve the gameplay enough to the point where it would stand on its own.

That's why Infinite is so good: it's actually playable for its gameplay; it's worth playing as a shooter, worth playing besides for its story and characters.

The most damning thing I can say about Bioshock 2 is that - having never given enough of a shit to play all of it - I went out of my way to play Minerva's Den specifically because of these threads and the shitheads infesting them; and the only thing I remember about it outside of the plot is what a fucking chore harvesting ADAM was. That game is really not great.

That's because it's the same plot twist as 1 e.g. You are not who you think you are. Now that I think about, Infinite is the same, so Bioshock 2 is the only original plot type.

Infinite's gameplay is as bad if not worse than 1, which is worse than 2. It's literally shooting galleries with minimal variety, bullet sponge enemies, overlapping plasmids, and don't get me started on the upgrade system

For me, it's the Bioshock 2 Multiplayer experience on the Xbox 360 (RIP)
