just finished the champions ballad dlc. was kino
Pretty awesome game. Might not be my all time favourite Zelda but it's a masterpiece.
The first 10 or so hours when i first played it was a 10/10, then i got extremely hostile torwards this game and its repetitive nature and went for like a 4/10, then i got really chill with it and appreciated how fulfilling going for koroks are so probably a 8/10, i'd replay it and go for more koroks right now but i wanna go for BOTW2 fresh, hopefully we'll get double the koroks
3/10, didn't finish it
7/10, its ight
Another soulless game rust belongs in the trash
10/10.
That*
Rust was a better game and it's in the trash as well.
8/10
It's not perfect, the lack of dungeons is regrettable (the ancient beasts or shrines don't count), and the world feels a bit empty at times, but it's fun enough
I definitely prefer the more traditional Zelda's tho like TP and OoT.
8/10
Only real problems are enemy variety and the difficulty curve flattening. The central mechanic of exploring/climbing/gliding is amazing
9/10
It could still use more movement options, most survival-type elements were too easy to overcome, very few bosses which also aren't great. The DLC seems like it would bring the quality of the game down, but I would never buy it to find out for sure.
All Zelda games become easier the more you play. The lack of proper dungeon was a shame, but I enjoyed shrines and the Divine Beasts (although not ideal, of course).
5/10 stopped after the third titan because it got boring. XB2 was better.
6/10. Non-existent story. Okay open world. Bad boss fights.
7/10
Freedom of exploration and mechanical synergy are nice but cooking, swordplay and dungeons are all kinda borked. Good first try but there's definitely room for improvement.
on a GFB scale, I'd give it an F.
9/10 only Zig Forums contrarians and irrelevant youtubers disagree
>repetitive
I'm at that stage right now, feels like the actual game is only 3 hours max and all the rest is generic filler.
Playing it on CEMU.
then far cry 3 is a 9/10
8/10
Best game ever made.
No one in their right mind would say that BotW is a three hour game packed with filler. Anyway, I hope that you're using a gyro controller, it makes the game way more fluid.
I liked how the Divine Beasts were more focused on geometric thinking than finding and using a new item, even if they were ultimately really easy.
The best balance is still Zelda 1's dungeons. A few item gates here and there, tough enemies and bosses, hidden shortcuts. Removing the dated mechanics and using a more vertical version of their structure in BOTW2 would be great.
I also like OoT's dungeons a lot. I think it's because Nintendo tried hard to use the new verticality 3D gives them.
but you grind until you're ready to fight the final boss, which is currently being speedran in under half an hour
playing it with DS4, so far had to skip only one shrine.
There's a plugin you can get for DS4windows that enables the gyro for Cemu, including for aiming with a bow and it's smooth as fuck, look it up

thx for the tip, will look in to it.
>I liked how the Divine Beasts were more focused on geometric thinking than finding and using a new item, even if they were ultimately really easy.
Yes, I liked that too. Although it ultimately felt like they stretched the same core concept to the four pseudo-dungeons. Vah Naboris was the most challenging and was fun, and I appreciated how Vah Medoh made you feel like you were really precariously flying above Hyrule. The Divine Beats' music was pretty awesome too, with Vah Ruta being a standout.

Yeah. Like in the Fire Temple when you see how much you climbed. It was a pretty awesome feel.
What was the minus 0.3
A pretty good game/10
I only ever had to grind when I received the of the Wild armour set and started upgrading my gear. I really have no idea what people mean when they complain about it. In your case, I assume that you're complaining that you had to experience the game and, you know, play it, which is just pure silliness. Breath of the Wild gives you one single objective: destroy Ganon. That's it. Whatever happens in between is your journey. This simplicity is very refreshing and if you think that speedrunning is the optimal way to play the game, then you're just wrong. It's certainly fun for a lot of players, sure, but many people also love exploring and talking to the colourful Hyrule characters, visiting the villages and doing all sorts of side quests. So I'm really not sure how you would qualify any of this as "grinding" or "filler" or what have you, the map is simply the canvas for your adventure and your adventure is only truly over when you clear the game's single objective.

Probably an 8 or 9 but definitely an amazing reimagining of zelda 1.
>and, you know, play it

Not great, not really bad enough for me to want to say much. It's painfully decent
