botw fans developed an immunity to criticism via their means of tolerating mediocrity
scientists refer to this as far-cry syndrome
Botw fans developed an immunity to criticism via their means of tolerating mediocrity
They're not immune. They seethe extremely hard over criticism and bring these threads to bump limit. If they were immune, they wouldn't give a shit.
does this mean I can count of a days since tears reply?
How does a 3 year old single player game make so many people seethe for so long
holy shit this, I've never even played it but I seriously can't comprehend why it made Zig Forums cry and shit their pants for years
like scientists theorized in the first post, we believe it is because fans of the game cannot stand someone critiquing their "masterpiece"(of shit) it is deeply flawed and if you point this out to them they lash out with (stale)copypasta
I just thought it was fun
>I assume that you're complaining that you had to experience the game and, you know, play it, which is just pure silliness.
>I seriously can't comprehend
>I've never even played it
Hmmmm
The Legend of Zelda: Gravity Rush
What's wrong w BotW?
It has the big gay. And also hardly qualifies as a zelda game.
see
How'd you get the aussie edition?
calling out the obvsious doesnt make the obvious any less wrong
the the OP is right, that botw fans simply deflect criticism with low effort memes
they then project butthurt they feel on others that simply dislike the game and want to talk about it
like what is "omg a few years after a game came out they're talking about its problems?!"
those memes started because 90% of those "criticisms" were low-effort shillposts by people who blatantly hadnt played the game.
it was a very unironic shitpost war incited by people who thought the switch was fucking stupid upon announcement.
that's a good story you have there, but it doesn't change the fact that it's ironically posted to every thread in which dissension is expressed for botw
>it was a very unironic shitpost war incited by people who thought the switch was fucking stupid upon announcement
It's a shitpost war between zelda purists and all the new people botw brought in.
Because BotW fans don't realize they're Eric Butts and are chowing down on a log of shit while claiming it's a masterpiece. The absolute disgust and hate that triggers in onlookers is natural, it's a primitive urge to remove that person from your gene pool to strengthen your community.
I'm old and not a gamer. Played a little wind waker when I was younger. I like botw. I might play for an hour at a time and its low stress fun exploration.
.
The Persona fanbase is even more infamous for this exact phenomenon.
>criticism
>pee pee poo poo
no wonder you're a blogger
>Have fun with Far cry AND BOTW emulated
>Don't consider them masterpieces, just fun dumb timewasters
>Retards SEETHE as an additional bonus
Nintendo and Ubisoft are the most potent force on Zig Forums
I'll never understand the appeal of persona. It seems like it should be right up my alley, but all the bits none of its fans actually talk about are such a goddamn slog it's absurd. If they want a VN, they should just read a VN.
what is it about the zeldafag that makes them recoil in absolute shock and pain when someone criticizes their shitty games? what goes on in their brain that makes them unable to comprehend that those games are often extremely overrated?
It's not zeldafags (this time), it's botwfags. Two very different things.
Flurry strike might be the most awful quick time event i've ever seen implemented in a video game
>boss fight
>dodge back at the right time
>hehe flurry strike go brrrrr
I heard it was lifted from bayonetta so avoid that one too
>at the right time
Almost makes it sound like its window isn't horrendously busted.
