When they said they weren't doing that, we thought "Hey, maybe they'll make it a good RPG even if it's not a carbon copy of the original game." but we're long past that not being a possibility. The ability to define a character through choices they make in the game.

But most importantly, distinct paths through the world and content therein that ensures that two playthroughs can be distinct.

None of this has anything to do with fucking stat points or perk trees or +1 Attack swords or any of that shit, because RPGs are about ROLEPLAYING, which is the act of telling a story about a character through narrative gameplay. Everything else hangs on top of that framework.

If your game has no roleplaying, your game is never an RPG.

I'm not sure what world you think we live in where I or anyone else has the ability to "let" Cyberpunk be anything. It's going to be whatever dumbed-down slop CDPR manages to shit out and there's nothing any of us can do about that.

Dude, there's multiple hours of gameplay footage available to watch right now. If you have to desperately insist that no one can possibly know anything about the game because it's not released and we didn't pay full Day 1 price + tip for it and finish the game ourselves, then you're just shitposting.

People can spout whatever bullshit they want, they can blame it on trannies or they can say that Zig Forums just like to hate on everything, but the truth is that the game is getting hated on because they’ve continued to remove more and more shit from the game, and each update about the game is negative. Plus the fact that for over a year journalists whose seen/played the game behind the scenes said the gunplay is actually not that great is pretty bad for a game that uses guns as it’s main source of combat, hence why they hardly show off the combat at all. Not to mention the hand to hand combat looked undeniably bad. Then there’s the fact that they’re trying to distance the game from being an rpg to an action game. There’s been a ton of promise for this game in the early years, but lately it seems they are backing away for what the game was supposed to be and are hoping to put out a less-than-promised version of the game and that people will eat it up.
