Name a more relaxing game
Name a more relaxing game
stardew valley is stressful as fuck tho
harvest moon back to nature
simcity 4
was there ever anything new added after the night market update?
>no sprinklers doing all the work for you
Peasants.
He's supposedly working on a new update now.
I played it a little but i didnt find it relaxing because of the time mechanic.
The game time flows too fast. I feel pressured to do all the tasks as fast as i can. Maybe if the game took an animal crossing approach to time, it could be more relaxing.
Why? There’s literally no time limit.
You literally have no brain
i wish i wasn't an autist that min maxes everything
well at least i have factorio
if you are talking about the grampa evaluation on the 3rd year you can repeat the event now if you pay 1 diamond to the shrine
When i play games of this kind, i like to immerse myself doing things like fishing while listening to ambient sounds. This is relaxing to me.
Animal crossing has this approach. I can spend hours fishing without losing anything in game. In fact, i'm rewarded for doing this kind of thing. To take my time and just enjoy the game and the world.
But since there's a time restrain and there's tasks i need to do per day in order to make money in the game, the game feels like a time management simulation.
I didnt play much of it, but this is how i fell about it.
But you don't "need" to make money. You can ignore crops entirely and just spend each day fishing all day if you want. You can still make money that way as well since obviously the fish have value.
I was debating buying stardew or the new animal crossing for the exact reason of relaxing, crafting, and taking my time.
If stardew has a time mechanic than you have helped me make my decision for animal crossing
I don't like how fast the days are
Stardew is by far the better game.
Not by the metrics he listed.
I love my canonically stinky wife, Emily!
>game loved by women is too stressful for Zig Forums
If your only metric for whether the game is good or not is that the day/night cycle progresses while you play it instead of when you choose, I suppose. That's an extremely autistic metric by which to measure a game though.
Atelier Meruru (and the other atelier games for that matter)
Buy Rune Factory 4
Not much point in trying to argue logic against autism, friend. I'm fully aware that it's autistic and stupid and that I technically have infinite time forever to do whatever I want. It doesn't matter.
just like tetris
Literally any other farming game.
It's stressful as fuck because you have to plan everything right to complete the community center in the first year, shit isn't relaxing at all for the first year
I'm pissed my dude passes out on his floor as I'm rushing into bed
there should be an option or something for slower days
Only the Atelier games with no time limit are relaxing
Has anyone played the FoMT remake? It looks ugly to me but I can get over that if the game is good.
FFXV. Game plays itself.
Banished
>Still no Rune Factory 5 news
>two years before old man spooky tells you you're a permavirgin with a shitty farm
>have literally zero energy at the start of the game, have to till shit one day, plant the next, etc. because you're a weak kneed african child
>timer is constantly ticking no matter what you're doing, and it ticks fast
>juggling all your plants until you're well off enough to ignore farming entirely and go cave diving every day
literally two people said that they were stressed by it. two out of the hundreds that visits this section...
Any ETA on it? I've been meaning to replay but the last update didn't add anything of use so I dunno what a new one would that isn't already covered by mods. Speaking of, what mods are recommended for a new playthru other than the tractor and SV Expanded?
My dog was in the way once and I couldn't get past him. It was both funny and infuriating.
there is literally no reason to complete the community center in the first year, and while it is technically possible via researching the game beforehand and reading a walkthrough/save scumming a few things like rabbits feet and duck feathers, the game is certainly not designed to progress in such a manner.
