I will definitely get a ps5, since I’ve owned every ps console, and I have a ton of a ton of PS4 digital games on my account.
The only Xbox I’ve owned was a 360, which I didn’t love, but I’m thinking I might get a next gen Xbox too, for the awesome backwards compatibility- I’d like to play and replay some older games, especially from th ps3, 360 generation. I still have my ps3, but I’m afraid to use it much, because I don’t want it to die- and of course ps5 won’t be back compat with ps3

Not every xbox one game, crossbuy is guaranteed only with microsoft games, which will be in gamepass too.
Crossbuy works with ps4 and ps5, difference isn't gonna make ps4 games anymore. Far cry 6, cyberpunk and avengers carry over from xbone to Sex, and from ps4 to ps5

4K30, which most developers are going to be targeting. 4K60 games are going to be less common in general. Performance modes that lower the resolution and increase the framerate already exist for some games on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. I'm hoping that trend grows next generation. Between Sony and Microsoft, it looks like Microsoft is the one thinking about and emphasizing framerate. For instance, take a look at the Xbox Series X website. Where they can advertise a game as being 60 FPS, they do. Sony hasn't shown that kind of interest.
True, but for people who don't have a gaming PC, which is most people, much of Microsoft's content is also unique.
