How do we save the mech vidya and get more people into giant robots?

At this point I don't know. Too many people with shit taste I guess.

Make some actual SRPGs and not an animation collection, for starters.

MAYBE THEY SHOULD ANNOUNCE A NEW FUCKING GAME FOR ONE

They tried that with Neo and people hated it.

Well maybe a good idea would be TO RELEASE THE GAMES IN THE FUCKING WEST, just a suggestion

Make a game and not a flash animation showcase, even brainlets can clear SRW T by just mashing their gamepad

They also tried it with the Masoukishin games and people in Japan returned them for being "too hard"

Yeah because OG1 and 2 on the gba were massive hits.

user, that is literally impossible due to copyright hell, you should be thankful over the loophole that allows them to release english versions in asia, just put your ps4 on asian region and get it from the store.

There is literally nothing wrong with the cool animations.
You just say this to act like a "le hardcore gamer"

Man I sure love current copyright laws.

They can't you retard, SRW is a licensing nightmare. We're lucky that we're even getting the games in decent English at all now thanks to the SEAniggers.

It's already a minor miracle that they can release gundam only games without making much of a fuss since the rights for different series and movies are scattered like the dragon balls.
Oh and any game with Macross in it might as well not even be a thing.

faggot

>make singaporean account with fake adress
>buy a singaporean ps card from any place that sells it and get the code instantly
>buy and download game

This is apparently too much work for some people

Yeah, even with the loophole these fucks would ruin everything, that is why they don't use macross at all anymore.

Just how nightmarish we talking about? I am very curious.

pirate it you mong

You can straight order the English versions off Amazon.

In japan, like three big companies hold the rights of most of the mecha shows. In the west, you can have like 100 different companies holding the rights and let's not talk about FUCKING Harmony Gold...

SRW is eternal proof copyright laws are an absolute cancer to humanity

>Literally every copyright holder in the wet right said yes for the dreamcast alpha 1 port in the west.
>Except these faggots.
Literally one single company blocked a game from coming.

Or Play-Asia and sometimes Videogamesplus.

play gundam battle operation 2 BITCH NIGGER

They are PC fags, they want everything on PC and somehow are too lazy to pirate it.

Developers should make more mech games because they're barely non-existent besides the that Taiwanese ones on Steam. Didn't Daemon X Machina sell well too? So is Titanfall 2 but you might say t's not a real mecha game

*West
Dunno how that turned into "wet right".

I am playing maxi boost on instead.

pretty sure the og is not a licensing nightmare right? i really want to play the rest of the og only played the gba series. maybe start with the og

>Gets a spot on a demo disc back in the day
>AND IT'S IN ENGLISH
>Full release never actually comes out in English because FUCKING HARMONY GOLD

WHAT THE FUCK IS EVEN PROTOCULTURE REEEEE

Also, make sure you check this game out. Plays a lot like Ace Combat, except your Valkyrie(s) can obviously transform between the 3 different modes. You can spam missiles like there's no tomorrow as well. And before you ask, no, there's no button to switch targets for some reason.

Amari > the isekai faggot whatever was his name.
>Inb4 T. Spero.

it's really hard to track down every single company who owns what because for example 1 company might have bought the rights and badly dubbed a series that aired on a local station and no one knows what the fuck are they up to anymore.
Also harmony gold and robotech

Weird how we can't get SRW over here but we can get FUCKING GARBAGE like Project X Zone.

Well in terms of SRW, can we have literally any genre other than strategy for a crossover with all these series? An action game would be perfect, I want to actually control the different mechs and move around while using their signature moves. My dream game would be an SRW musou titled Super Robot Warriors. It bothers me that the closest thing we got to that was the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games since I don't care about that mech series.

cringe...
