Nier Automata (PC)

Is Nier Automata worth getting on PC? I've played through it on PS4 and have gotten most endings except the secret boss one but I remember the port being ass so I'm not sure if I should invest in it, want the game to run better than on PS4

I didn't delete my save file at the end. Fuck you all, it's mine.

>Highlight coomer-zone and mash subdivide
>Leave the rest alone so you get this clash between above-average game model and hypersmooth ass/hips/thighs
Coomer "modelers" need to be shot.

The port is fixable with mods, but you still shouldn't support it. Especially if you already own the good PS4 version and finished it.

Hmmm, I liked the game but using mods to fix it seems like a huge pain
You piece of shit...

It isn't

I think I saw on DF that the cutscenes are rendered in low quality, is that true, do the mods fix that?

They're prerendered at 900p or some shit yeah

There are mods that turn the cutscenes 1080p and turn them to 60fps instead of 30

Modding the game is nice

wow they fixed a texture

Don't use frame interpolation it looks like shit

The fucking mod is even only for bought copies. Pirated versions can't use it.

dont buy it.
Just play the PS4 version

>doesn't buy a game
>seethes when it doesn't work
maybe you should pay for games you like

while we're talking about this, what's stopping you from making multiple save files before getting to this option?

I played a pirated version so I didn't have this option, but I wanted to experience it myself so I went to buy it on Steam when its on sale, but I haven't had the time to play it

>what's stopping you from making multiple save files before getting to this option?
It's possible to copy your save file yes

I know you're joking but the modder fixed a lot more.
The game looks nice overall

Not sure if it does use interpolation but it looks nice to me.

I'm not paying for a broken port m8
I don't like getting fucked in the ass like you

I want to support games I like so they make more but I don't want an inferior product especially since I just made the jump to PC. I also like 2B's and A2's designs

Then don't play the game.
No one cares if your russian crack doesn't work.

The cutscene is prerendered at 30 FPS, what do you mean "not sure", it literally has to

Even with the issues it's still better than the PS4 version

>what's stopping you from making multiple save files before getting to this option?
Nothing. You can totally do this. Not what devs intended but who gives a shit

All you need is one little mod called FAR, its not big and really easy to install like any other program.
Boom you have the best nier automata version

I remember being surprised how bad this game looked. At first I thought it was my graphics card, so I updated the drivers. Surprise, it still looked like absolute shit
except for dat ass

huh?

you heard me.
Take a hike, corn pop.

Good to know.
Ugh, this is what i'm afraid of, I want the prettiest version of this game my graphics card can run.
PS4 version wasn't bad so if it's better than i'm in

If you're interested in modding the game, then the video in question will show you the most essential ones to get with the best QoL mods.

Then use this guide from nexus on how to do it all, its really simple. Doesn't even take an hour to do it all.

Have fun with the game

If your PC can handle a terribly optimized game then yeah. Mods are cool.

Thank you for this

Nothing. You can do this on PS4 aswell you can just back up the save files and restore them afterwards.

The devs didn't really intend to make it impossible for you to do or annoy you, they probably know there's alot of people more tech savvy or hoarding of their game data that would refuse to delete and thus participate in the concept, so they let you have an easy way out if you know your way around file systems.

Brainlet normies can go ahead and delete their files or purposely sacrifice and feel fulfilled they made such a "sacrifice". We can just enjoy the novelty of the concept without having to fight with the game systems to save our data. It's a fair compromise.
