Croteam has been bad for a while now. Only thing funnier than them trying to make a generic desert shooter and failing so hard that they had to turn it into ss3 in a few months to avoid going bankrupt was the diehard fags pretending that ss3 wasn't utter dogshit through gritted teeth.

I finally understand why modern games usually look brown and drab, because it just hurts to look at with too many colors
It's less about looking "modern" or "cluttered" and more how everything they've shown this year looks worse than their previous works, both in terms aesthetics and graphics quality.
It's also one month before release and we haven't gotten a taste of ANY of their tall tale features that they always mention.
Instead we got a face full of store-bought assets like the spaceship that was understandable in a side project like Last Hope but not really in a main title, reused assets from almost ten years ago like the chainsaw launcher that's just the rocket launcher model, glitchy and piss-poor animations like Gnaars clipping through entire house walls and Mechanoid tentacles having spastic seizures and landscapes that look like someone's first modding project.
Where's the thousands of enemies?
