ALBEEON ONLAYN IS A SANDOBOX EM EM OH AHW PEE GEE

is it still p2w?

Yes. You can buy ingame currency, ingame resources only accessible with real money and even boosts for experience and resource gain.

A paying player is about ten times more effective than a non paying one. Hilarious forums packed with people convinced the game is totally fair and even, even though there is a direct correlation between the top guilds and them forcing people to pay to join and stay relevant.

Started playing two months ago. Probably the only true sandbox mmo currently around.

did peter molyneux direct this?

loading screens killed it for me, as it does with almost every unity game

Albion is boring as fuck. Fame farming is mind numbing and theres never any good PvP. You can run around for ages to find nobody. When you do find someone like 5 hour later, they either run off or 9 of their buddies come out of nowhere and fry your ass.

You have to join a guild to make any real leeway. I'm thinking about it but the guild drama in this game is EVE levels of autism.

You can get rich off the market just like runescape. People do 0 to Membership runs just like runescape.

>Do something you dont want to do that ruins the immersion of a game so you can play competitively
Yeah no thanks, I would rather spend my time playing a good game.

The crafting system is a complete mess that demands previous tiers to craft the next one, making progression an extremely annoying chore.

I'm not coming back ever if that doesn't get fixed. It's not challenging, it's not entertaining, it's just farming for hours or wasting tons of money on it.

VERY quietly. EVE is better.

Yeah no, Sea of Thieves saved sandbox MMOs
>b-but its not massive!
>b-but its not a grindy raid mess of itemization!
Exactly.

based

I never joined a real guild. I’d play with some friends and that was the extent. Territory wars and shit like that sound fun but never tried it. PvP is where it feels most rewarding but as I said, fair fights are hard to come by in the wild outside of a hell gate.

How many mmos have to come out and die 2 years later before companies realize we don't want these scuffed isometric mmos

why the fuck is english chat filled with faggots spamming about their filthy pinoy only guilds?

The true mark of a dead game is when third worlders overwhelm the population

Isometric MMOs habe a lot of market.
The issue is that they always make them dumb grindy and people eventually drops them.

I swear the MMO industry is just companies constantly shooting themselves at the foot, then complaiming the genre is dead. Repeat every few years.

I guess theres a market for it but it seems like third person is just miles better overall, both you boomers and us zoomers tolerate ot whereas only boomers like isometric
And yeah at this point it seems sketchy, like something is going on because theres no way companies can keep blundering every mmo for the last 20 years.

Except that it didn't. All around it feels like a soulless mobile game. Everything in it is so structurally designed that it feels like you're exploring an excel sheet instead of a game world.

>only boomers like isometric
Don't be dumb, user, Diablo and all it's clones exist.
The main draw for companies to isometric is that the quality of the models and enviroments is much tolerable, thing don't need to be as detailed or realistic because you're never gonna see them on ground level, and it makes everything click easier.
On tcontrast, 3rd person meand players will have closeups of everything: outside, interiors, enemies, other players, etc... So you need greater art direction and models or it will look like all those kickstarter MMOs that barely classify as an alpha.

There's always a way to do things, specially when it already has been done. But won't happen if companies keep seeing MMOs as massive investment that have to make tons of money and anything inbetween doesn't exist.

I didnt want you to have to find out this way old man, but diablo and its clones are only played by boomers
League of legends is the only game young people play in a top down view, dota doesnt count because the people that play it arent human

Nothing wrong with isometric. You just have shit taste.

There's plenty of other shit wrong with Albion though.

ok boomer
