Anyway, the game is neat but it gets old/repetitive pretty quickly and it ends up becoming a creative writing exercise instead of a game and people post their stories in the thread which are highly edited and guided by the writer to the point where you're basically just reading somebodies ero smut instead of gameplay.

Problem is, you have to do all the work with making things happen. AI is good at describing shit that you already did, but when coming up with new events it's just insanity.

It's great but half of it is complete gibberish and it doesn't seem to set any boundaries around your input-- literally anything can happen.

To be fair, it's often partly on the player since keeping up a decent memory/world info is mandatory for longer stories and the new engine does make it quite a lot better.

Any hints on how to handle it? AI sometimes behaves oddly after I use that pin icon.

It's just a SotA model ran on more data at a size where it stops being practical for downstream tasks. There is zero innovation in the paper.

I use short informative sentences
"You are XY. You have XY Hair. You met an Elf. The Elf is called XY."
It usually keeps up quite decent but you always have to redo and alter a bit to keep it coherent.
Having the World Info Script from user certainly helps too, keeping your Memory cleaner. The new AI certainly improved it a lot and it's a bit less work now.

I honestly don't even write too much coom into my stories, i just like having adventures.

I got it to do some cool things but it seems like the Wizard mode is much, much more complex and intricate than anything else I tried. I could get a narrative even if it wasn't exactly a coherent narrative, there were almost no repeating loops and its memory of events went surprisingly far back. Every other mode I tried sucked in comparson
