>Open world is back and bigger than before >60 FPS >The bike is back >NMH1's combo system is back >Dark Side Mode is back (Tiger mode) >Finally added jumping >Henry is back >You fight fucking ALIENS >Kamui is present >Soundtrack is already fucking GODLIKE youtu.be/LzBjE8e53D0 >Suda confirmed he has full control over every aspect of the game >Entirely self-published, no suits to dictate how the game should be
This is it sudabros, TSA was the bells sounding his return and NMH3 will be the second coming
I only played NMH for the first time a couple months back and immediately fell in love with it, so much that I got around to play the Kill The Past games and post-NMH games as well, and although I enjoyed NMH2 it was disappointing how it lacked in features present in 1 and wasn't nearly as punk rock as the first game. So happy to see NMH3 going the way of the first one.

2 wasnt directed by Suda I recommend you check out Travis strikes again, he poured his soul into that one
Cameron Fisher
NMH2 had some good ideas, a godlike soundtrack, and some decent improvements to the combat. But yeah, all of these improvements mean nothing if the soul isn't there. You'd think the story of these games is just dumb schlock, but you can see how much less interesting it is when the games lack meaning and excitement. Travis Strikes Again doesn't have the same combat, nor the same structure as 1 and 2, but the story, feel, atmosphere, music and writing just made it much more interesting than NMH2 for me, because it gave me bosses that I cared about and a story I wanted to follow. There's just something about the way Suda is writing stories. You can just feel it when he isn't involved as much as he wants to. He might be edgy, but his edginess has a purpose and people trying to replicate it lack this element of purpose.
Suda is a faggot lefty tho who unironically loves Rick n Morty.
Austin Turner
Where do you think 3 will go with the themes? I like this video on what it looks to be, but I also think it will deal a lot with the fan culture around super heroes. Especially with how it entered the mainstream youtu.be/vILeQZsdIk8
Josiah Walker
I bet he drinks water too, better rethink your life choices
Brandon Nelson
oh noo he has a different political opinion? better cancel his game then.
Michael Wright
>he drinks water Enjoy being gay.
Isaac Powell
It's bait. He's the same fag invading every Suda thread for days.
that sounds pretty fuckin good if they don't fuck it up somehow
Robert Martinez
2 had a real tricky job as Travis is meant to feel a growing disconnect. So it becomes hard to tell when a boss is meant to be dumb and when a boss is just dumb. TSA on the other hand is one of the most personal games I've played, you really feel Suda studying himself through it. Even get the impression his thoughts are purposefully incomplete because it is about Travis and possibly Suda finding himself again. But all the game journos see it as wacky wahoo otakuman 3/10
>01 toys I wonder what Sudas favourite Kamen Rider is. I bet he likes Ryuki a lot cause rider wars.
Jacob Powell
TSA was a terrible game not worth playing at all. Ignore Switchfag shilling, just watch the cutscenes on youtube and save yourself the money and frustration of a dogshit product.
Bentley Watson
>Xbox controller NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
Bentley Taylor
Yes?
Julian Howard
I played it on PS4
Noah Peterson
So I only played the "newer" games from Suda like NMH/KiD/Lollypop Chainsaw. Is it worth it to go back and play those VN's by him? I once tried Flower, Sun Rain but holy shit I couldn't stand those ds graphics where you can't see shit.
Start with the silver case and work your way through every game Suda's worked on. That's what I'm trying to do.
Gabriel Ramirez
I'd say it is very much worth it because they are good and unique. It's nothing like Danganronpa. It's pretty much criminal investigations with a dose of urban horror. FSR is also really good, the original PS2 version didn't look bad at all, but the DS suffered from an obvious drop in image quality. You can play the other games and just wait for the inevitable FSR remaster/remake.
how easy is it to emulate the first two with wiimotes? Do the games use the IR pointer?
Jason Robinson
they don't use the pointers for precise aiming. You can use two candles instead of the sensor bar and it will work It's very easy to emulate
Daniel Perez
That explains the 60fps, no way it's like that on switch, can't wait to see sales gimped because they leaked the PC port.
Christopher Flores
They didn't leak anything. Development happen on PC. Do you think they're coding on the switch itself?
William Garcia
Using candles every time I want to play the game sounds like a pain in the ass, does anyone know if it plays like shit with dualshock motion control?
Benjamin Howard
I know they aren't coding on switch, but they are clearly running the game on a PC, for either testing or showcasing purposes, if the Switch was their core platform they wouldn't be making builds and compiling the game on a PC, they would only be targeting the Switch to get as accurate a representation of the version they are releasing, but having a working build on PC, fully compiled shows that yes, therer is a PC version and it's getting significant work put into it.
Jayden Turner
>if the Switch was their core platform they wouldn't be making builds and compiling the game on a PC Huh? 90% of the work of a dev is to compile and build it on PC. You have never worked a day in your life as a game dev
Gabriel Rodriguez
>Entirely self-published Then why is Marvelous on the trailers.
Julian Harris
Suda is the most overrated dev ever, the games are below mediocre in the gameplay department and carried by the character design and music.
Easton Wood
>90% of the work of a dev is to compile and build it on PC Yes, as a dev you spend most of your times compiling a game to your PC, you spend 10% of your development time actually writing code for it, yes that makes a lot of sense, I guess you need to test if each line of code added to the game compiles accurately, don't worry about completing the whole function, you don't need a full function, just rune your whole game code through a compiler, that's your job for 90% of the time you are working. Also if 90% of your workload is compiling the actual gamecode, and 10% is coding, that means that there is no time to compile the games code to the target hardware, I guess that's the HR departments job.
