It's mostly good for the dialogue options, but I couldn't find any relevant screenshots. Rats are always fun to talk to if you get the pet pal talent. There are cursed rats that can only tell the truth and thus cannot get a gf, that can only lie, that bemoan their compulsion to eat pickings, and so on. They all have a unique personality and give useful hints.
