What are the pettiest video game reviews/scores?
What are the pettiest video game reviews/scores?
This one never fails to make me laugh because that side path is like 3 seconds long to run through or something
THE DARK SOULS OF SMT
It's like not being able to find the exit of Kokiri Forest in Ocarina of Time because there isn't some huge arrow telling you that that huge hole in the wall is indeed the exit
You called?
>the dark souls of persona games
every time
>new Bethesda games in the 2000s
I see no bugs. BTW I played on PS3.
>AA developer games in the 2000s
This bug ridden pile of shit is a crime against the human race
I honestly don't think it was payoffs, mainstream videogame critics are just so dim that they don't get that they've got marketing goggles on.
>the dark souls of fantasy rpgs
>dragons dogma
uhhh... im gonna guess dark souls doesnt exist
Ehem.
I don't think anything will top IGN's Double Dragon Neon. Also known as the "I don't like beat em ups as a genre so the game is shit" review.
there is no hope, smtbros...............
Wouldn't the Dark Souls of Fantasy RPG's be Dark Souls?
someone post 7/10 too much water
user, you need to go for quality over quantity.
That'd be Demon Souls
Shit, I meant That's whole review is the pettiest, saltiest shit I've ever seen.
I'm not going to try and find the article. Is that supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing? Strife is pretty good.
Not quite full on petty, but Greg's reviews for DMC3 and DMC3 Special Edition. Special Edition addresses pretty much all his complaints lobbied in his review of DMC3 and then he complains about changes and gives it a lower score.
I will never not be mad. It killed the game, killed Clover studio and even Mikami himself said he thought it would kill his career and i doubt he ever recovered from that.
>7.8/10 too much water
An island region has too much water? And they go around sucking SwSh dicks giving it praise and saying pokemon is better than ever. When in fact it’s getting worse for the amount of content and quality in the games.
This is unforgivable. Fucking game journalists
I've read the article. I actually have no idea. The entire rest of the article is that kind of word salad for like fifteen paragraphs. It honestly reads like an AI generated it.
>Nobody has posted this classic yet
reminder the journalist who wrote the God Hand review left IGN and now teaches Game Design.
I'm honestly surprised that still hasn't happened. Just have an AI search what's currently popular and find a way to always relate everything to those titles.
This one always pisses me off. First he makes a comparison to a random title and then complains that it has nothing to do with that title and therefore bad. Christ where to these people come from?
>this kills the franchise
That's really embarrassing.
>a random title
Didn't you know? Dark Souls invented hard difficulty, just like Halo invented FPS.
Even parroting something as superficial as Toady's "losing is fun" would've fit better, god damn it.
The retarded negroid from gamespot (hired because of a diversity quota) that gave Spongebob a 2 because he couldn't beat a simple puzzle.
He's not wrong about PoE
How angry does someone have to be to put something like this on their website?
I'm guessing this is supposed to be funny.
>too much water
A completely valid criticism of those games.
That's a clickbait, the motivation here was anything but anger.
They were unironically right though.
>What are the pettiest video game reviews/scores?
Probably the userscore on this
I don't get why this was ridiculed. it's one of the worst parts of Ruby/Sapphire and it's everywhere.
Yeah, the shills went hardcore on this. Pages of 10/10s saying "fuck the haters" and even duplicate reviews. Pretty pathetic.
Given how samey and terrible a lot of game journalism is, I'm starting to wonder if at least half of the journos out there are bots with profile pics make by one of those face generating programs.
Neither the Reviews nor User Scores are accurate for this game and it's embarrasing.
>after dinging it a point for grammar
worst part of this shit
>Soulsian
>hard is good
>Souls games are about reaction movement and practice
This alone reads like someone who didn't get past the asylum demon and thinks the souls games don't hold your hand and teach you all the way through...
I'm actually mad, even if it's old
>game tells you to GIT GUD
>give it a low score because your feelings were hurt
