>you're given a choice between shotgun or revolver in your game
which one do you pick and why?
You're given a choice between shotgun or revolver in your game
revolver definitely. Longer range and cool reload anims
>shotgun
Variety of ammo and some can be semi automatic or fully automatic.
Games have taught me shotgun = more damage.
Is the shotgun pump action? If so give me Revolver, pump action can fuck off.
Porque no los dos
depends on the game
stealthy hitman-esque game or some payday type situation where you need to conceal carry? Revolver
Anything else? Shotgun
This gun was pretty based in Payday 2
I always thought shotguns were kinda boring, so revolver.
Shotgun
>Often more common ammo
>Would end up never using the revolver anyways because I'd save the precious ammo for emergency situations that never came up
>If enemies are melee then there's AoE possibility and it does almost as much damage as a revolver if you let the enemies get right in your face
>If enemies are ranged, it enables a more aggressive, fun playstyle since you have to get close
>Feels ballsy (eventho the revolver does too)
but only if it's not full auto. Full auto shotguns often do way less damage and are meant for less controlled use
Also if it's a PvP game fuck shotguns, they're either really bad or encourage no skill gameplay (unless its a quakeclone or something)
Has any game feature this revolver? Has any game featured snakeshot rounds for pistols/revolver for that matter?
Depends on game mechanics
If it's your typical vidya shotgun that its spread minimizes damage over 3m then revolver
If it's a more realistic approach, shotgun
headshots with revolvers are the most satisfying things you can do in most shooters.
better than hipfiring 1-tapping someone with a pump shotgun even.
I remember gmod project user zombie had it
Hip-firing a revolver is cooler than both.
definitely shotgun
I pick both
>reality can render bullets at 1830 fps
Is this why 60 fps vidya have such shitty gunplay?
Shotgun, I love shotguns, my mom used to have one hidden on the house when I was little.
shotguns in games don't behave like a shotgun should and revolvers are usually overpowered because ??? so we gotta go with the revolver
>bullpoop
dropped
Yes.
shotgun because i can't aim
Ahh veo que usted hombre cultura tambien
Revolver all day any day.
>Easier to carry and aim
>More long ranged (By game logic)
>Easier to reload via more effective speedloader
But given a full choice?
Basic handgun because they give you the same result with a fraction of the effort and is less messy. Sure, it's not as flashy, but it gets the job done better
>in a game
revolver
they're almost always accurate even at range and are very powerful on a per-shot basis, whereas shotguns always have an unrealistic spread and dont do shit unless you're right on top of your enemy
I didn't even that's thing
Both, shotgun primary with revolver secondary. Close quarters dominance with a decent ranged secondary.
>Soul
Soulless
>porque
It's 'por qué' you illiterate fuck
Revolving mechanisms used to be pretty common on everything but they never caught on in media so people assume they didn't exist. Same with single edged straight swords in Yurop.
Does the shotgun fire confetti if you're more than a meter away?
Is level design fairly open, or mostly tighter corridors?
Revolvers can snipe most games nerf shoties to magically disappear after 5 yards
Revoler is usually more powerful in vidya. Decent range + mid to high damage. Shotgun is generally (GENERALLY) last resource.
I lean towards revolvers because shotguns always get fucked over by balancing.
Shotguns, especially if they have realistic range or different ammo types.
Ithaca flachette payday2 friends wya
Shotgun is the thinking man's weapon requiring you to flank, ambush out think your opponents or use a very aggressive approach
Revolvers are for when you want to feel like a god when nailing 6 shots in a row
Why don’t you have a sharp edge of a sword underneath so your rounds increase your swing???
Raimbow six siege has it as a secondary for the italian operators, and you can have snakeshot as an upgrade in the new COD. Akimbo snakeshot revolvers was an OP insane meta for a while before they nerfed it.
Shotgun. High T weapon that literally blows away the target and takes chunks out of them. Revolvers are just beefy pistols that virgins think makes them look classy or "epic".
It's "why" you taco truck
I really want one of these but in 12ga but they don't exist. .410 just isn't enough firepower for me to justify the purchase
Uncharted 4 had some disappointing firearms. The second shotgun was a pump action revolving shotgun Frankenstein.
