Everyone else will probably shit on it but i thinks its pretty fantastic especially 4team domination since its a big clusterfuck

Never tried it but i'm curious of what people think of this guy, does he fits well with the official mercs in terms of design and personality? His voice lines seem pretty good but some of them need more "oomph" and emotion

It's pretty fun, desu. I appreciate all the work that was done to make the new gamemodes fit into the game's classic aesthetic.

i do like his model and how the used spy taunt as his official taunt.

however every vip ma i played was kind of garbage

i've been enjoying the mod with classic maps but every new map os map tweek they did was not really that good.

i was playing not too long ago and everyone was complaining how strong demoman and soldier are now.

The design is excellent, in my opinion, and the concept fits very well. He's not completely over the top and works well as a character who isn't completely insane. Putting him next to some of the most iconic character designs in a heavily stylized game, though, naturally makes him seem a little lackluster, but you can tell that the devs put in effort without trying too hard to make him quirky.

He doesn't have any absolutely amazing voicelines, but most of them are pretty solid and have a bit of character to them. I like spamming the "left" and "right" voice commands whenever I play as him because they're delightfully snobby.

TL;DR Impressive for a mod.

He's great, doesn't fall into the fan trap of feeling out of place or acting like he's better than the main cast.
He's a fat cunt snob who thinks he's the shit only to get ruined by enemy teams and him hiring the mercs makes it less like an OC and more like something that could happen

Cactus canyon is a very good map for vip

Yeah, they did a great job at making him satisfying to kill; he has a small and squat hitbox, you get crits for killing him, and his personality invites it.

I like the vip maps, one of them is called escape I think?

Is he any fun to play as?

Actually, yeah. You still have a weak melee weapon (an umbrella), so you're not completely defenseless, and it's satisfying to get a kill with it. Plus, you can grant minicrits to a teammate every few seconds.

the new soldier and demoman weapons are fucking annoying
>soldier new rocket launcher has a gigantic hitbox and can hit both medic and whoever his healing with easy. 2 soldier with that shit kill anything
>demoman doesnt even need to detonate his bombs anymore
