I'm still pretty optimistic for CP2077. I know it gets all the skepticism and hate and there are certainly things that should be criticized but all in all, I still hope it's really fun.

The trick is not to hype yourself. I'm looking forward to the game but I haven't followed anything in order to not be disappointed when the hype makes the game appear more exciting than before.

Maybe I'm bitter but I have been burned by following the hype for too many things.

As far as I remember, only 2 things were cut from the game, that is robot companion (techie's skills are still in the game) and wall running.

i don't know man, i'm still going to get it because i'm a huge cyberpunk fan and i basically get anything that has that aesthethic but i was hoping for a little more. it honestly looks like far cry new dawn in a cyberpunk setting

I really give zero shits about it until the finished product is out. Obviously this will mean waiting until years of patches have come out and still getting a half-baked product.

This, if you allow outside influences to tamper with your experience before the game is even out, you're setting yourself up to be manipulated and ultimately disappointed. At least you get to judge for yourself this way.
