you missed out. HL2RP was the pinnacle of RP on Gmod. Arguably a filter for the kids who played the game in the first place as you would get kicked or banned if you thought it was like DarkRp or something.

I wonder if anybody has had their rebel character legit survive for years, it doesn't seem possible if the server allows serial killers, which also makes me wonder has anyone ever actually investigated a murder in HL2RP? Probably not since CPs have little to no motivation to if it's someone random that got PKed.

If any of you lads are burnt out on doing big bango HL2RP, wrestle up a bunch of your mates, read some Nutscript documentation, and make yourself a custom schema for a private session-based campaign deal, like a tabletop RPG. It works really well and is really fun.
Yeah the closed nutscript communities can be fun, but they die quickly.

I did some freelance work on TacoScript 2 which I got paid for but that was the extent of our relationship after he used to run the OICW division (Overwatch) in the original iteration of Taco AND Banana and used to admin the servers.
