Exclusives are straight up marketing manipulation through false scarcity. There is no way people can use that as a defense. You have to to admit that the console needs that false advantage for people to buy it. It's all business, there is no pro-consumer reason for a game to be an exclusive.

I mean just think, consoles are literally just x86 AMD APUs, if not for the digital keys that haven't been broken you could theoretically just run their games on your windows PC.

That I think would be fair, but a lot of the game industry is bloated with shovelware cash ins and AAA cinematic experiences. I think having less funding in that direction would be totally acceptable.

I don't get it, we get almost every console game ever made for free in addition to our own exclusives. How can console gamers think we're lacking for games? I've been playing Ghost Trick, Outer Wilds, Factorio, and Little Witch Nobeta this week.
