Reallistically if it happened it would be Andy, but it should be Max. There aren't any manly, bulky, muscular characters in Smash. The closest we have is Wario. Every other human male character is either a twink or Mario.

Okay, fine. I'll give you those guys, but they're still not bulky. Muscular sure, but not huge. A character like Max would at the very least be visually distinct from the rest of the characters. The Wars series gives plenty of special move potential and his mass can justify a heavy playstyle for his movement and normal attacks.

Whoever it is, you'll have to dig into the commander aspect to make a good kit. Snake's got the realistic soldier stick covered. I don't think it's enough to occasionally call in an assist character. You should make your opponent feel like he's being overrun by an entire army.

For me Ideally? a Infantry/Mech Grunt, OS design as default, other factions as the recolours and a dash of Battalion Wars for the moveset (IE: Summoning/Riding destructable and simplistic Vehicles alá LANDMASTER and Warios bike) with a Wonderwing like system (if something breaks/runs out of Ammo it is gone for the stock) to keep in that TACTICAL GAMEPLAY angle.
Realistically it would probably be Andy though.
