Links are good it's Master Rule 4 that was fucked.
It centralized Link monsters too much in an attempt to limit Pendulums, but it ended up fucking everything else over way more. Now that you can freely Fusion/Synchro/Xyz summon it's much better, and Pendulums are still limited with a smaller S/T zone and less spamming pendulums from the extra deck
