It's far cry 3 with slightly lighter skinned dark people

Flying the autogyro around raining down shells with the grenade launcher while humming wagner was amusing. It's nice when a game lets you just cheese the fuck out of things even if it's not particularly fun.

i hated the story and couldn't stand any of the "good" guys but it was still fun running around shooting people

I thought it was really bold of Ubisoft to re-release Far Cry 3 with a different name

how the fuck do i run far cry 3 properly i have a rx580 and ryzen 4 2600

ryzen 5 rather

some slight improvements, but pretty much this, and it looked like 5 was 3 AGAIN

6 will be 3 AGAIN

It's better than 3 though. I played 4 and 5 before trying out 3, and I just couldn't finish it.

One of my favorite moments in playing games was in Far Cry 4. Overall the game becomes a slog, like all far cry games though. Wish you could side with Pagan Min though.

I prefer 3 over 4. 5 was better than 4 too imo.

Yes

I did literally the exact same thing. Most of it is a blur of meaningless fetch quests with the exception of that one snowy stealth mission maybe

It's far cry 3, but better gameplay and villians with a tighter narrative
Probably the best allegory for how shitty imperialism is

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW AND RANK THE FAR CRY GAMES

> 2 > 3 > 5 > 4 > 1 > New Dawn

Worthwhile and a rather sound punch to the idea that the 'rebels' are always the good guys.

I wish we could have played from the secret ending on.

5>=3>2>New Dawn>4>1

It's one of the few modern games that gives you a bunch of tools and lets you approach an encounter from any direction. Even if it's got the ubisoft template shit like random rpg elements and a million boring points of interest, it gets points for that.

Change 4 with ND and we're good to go

I had fun playing it, although I went in with really low expectations and never played FC3 so it's inherent repetitiveness didn't bother me.

My favourite aspect was just exploring and hunting animals and collecting treasure. There's some treasure at the bottom of a Demon Fish infested lake that I damn near had a heart attack collecting. I love shit like that in games.

>couldn't stand any of the "good" guys
That's the point! The good guys are debatably even worse. That's some nuance Ubisoft seems to have completely lost after that game.

The cult were right in V. They were also so racially integrated and welcoming that even vice couldn't figure out how to shit on it properly.

The cult was garbage long term, they were killing actual productive members of society and the tools and infrastructure they needed to function. Plus all the torture, murder, rape, the pile of failed faiths, etc.

I finished it in 5 minutes

After unlocking this game became great. Story was shit tho.

Reskinned FC3 with not much new shit really. Pretty bad comparing with the leap from the second game to the third.

How to achieve the best ending:
>Side with Amita or Sabal (it's indifferent)
>Kill the one you didn't choose
>Kill Pagan
>After the ending kill the one you choose

>the leap from the second game to the third
it's the same game minus some tedious bullshit and with some other, less egregious tedious bullshit added in.

I know this doesn't make any sense, but despite liking it more than 3, I never bothered to finish it. Maybe I was just tired of the formula. Or maybe it's because I saw the "secret ending" and realized that the best ending in the game is the one you get for not playing it.

The actual best ending is where you actually wait for Pagan to come back, and you join him.

Real problem is that is not Far Cry 3 enough. Islands are much better maps than hills. Even if second islands sucks. Villian is not even villian. Hoyt and Vaas are evil cunts. Pagan Ming is not. I stopped playing because i was in wrong side. I am afraid that Far Cry 6 will have same problem.

What the fuck happened to this series lmao its such trash now, even 3 was meh blood dragon was kino though

Should have cut the released story in half and used the time to make a full Pagan path.

Arena was the best part of the game. Has the player deal with the strengths and weaknesses of every weapon.

There's already a Pagan path. Just wait for him to come back in the beginning instead of running away like a pussy, lmao.

That's not a "path," you fucking moron.

That's not a path. That's literally choosing not to play the game. It's pure gimmick.

dilate

They should make a new Blood Dragon, the hobo references were cool, so disepointed they did not make the plague some kinda boss fight.

No U.

the far cry licence is in discount right now and I never played any of them, I also don't know anything about them except fc3 has the mad meme man as the villain
which one should I take ? And I don't give a shit about graphics

>Real problem is that is not Far Cry 3 enough. Islands are much better maps than hills.
Yeah, the mountain scenery was really cool at first, but ultimately its all the same gameplaywise. 3’s tropical islands weren’t exactly the peak of innovation, but worked much better regarding gameplay variety.

>1 is a level-based shooter with some more open levels and some that are very linear, also mutants
>2 is the flawed diamond of the series, but oh man, the flaws are really hard on this one with all the respawning enemy checkpoints and stealth that sucks super hard
>3-5 are mostly the same, just pick the one that interests you most regarding the locale and themes

I'd say start with 3.
1 is proto-Crysis
2 is African Stalker

3 is where the series really begins. Then every subsequent title is an improved version of 3.
