Seems like a bigger deal to me than raytracing. problem is that you need the newest cards to use this feature which clearly would have more of a point with lesser hardware. I guess it serves to futureproof the rtx -series if nothing else

No
DLSS 3.0 will be even better too

ayyymdrones told me so, yes.

Temporal anti-aliasing is pure shit at 1080p resolution. It takes good care of shimmering, at the expense of blurring everything. At higher resolutions it gives much better effects, and when downsampled with TAA, it's pure sex. Dishonored 2 looks amazing when downsampled from 4K, with dynamic resolution since it's not very well optimised, in combination with TXAA, while at native 1080p with TXAA is genuinely looks like someone put a blur filter on screen.
DLSS not only makes temporal antialiasing look good at 1080p, but also it's usually aiming at 4K 60 fps, so more downsampling potential.

No

nah, not a meme.
but it's unlikely it'll see much adoption. Most games are multiplats anyway, and you won't see envidyia propietary tech being used on them for obvious reasons.
it'll be implemented as an afterthought, if at all.

Who cares about this meme upscaling tech. You better help me which one should I choose.

It's getting more common, along with AMD's FidelityFX
