>own Wii U copy
>didn't buy this shit again

Anyone else /Chad/ here?

I have it on Steam and it runs flawlessly though??

>Didn't buy a Wii U
>Just pirated it on my PC

haven't played it but I thought outside of framepacing issues that were resolved by a fanmade fix it was fine on PC at least

It plays at a locked 60 fps (with the fix, of course) and severely improves the load times of the original.
Even if there's a bunch of stuff I wish they changed, those two points by themselves make the port better than the original.

I'm playing it right now, port's absolutely fine.

Been replaying on Switch, and I just remembered there was supposed to be a remixed soundtrack. What happened to that? I checked the Kickstarter comments and it seems like everything outside of the base port has been a disaster (especially for Europoors lmao).

Imagine paying over $1000 to the Chinese Communist Party like harryhalitosis.

>"Kickstarter" for a port they had pretty much finished already
how did they get away with it?

Port was good though.

Only some tracks got remixed. IIRC it's Won-Stoppable 100/101 and Tables Turn.

Nah I'm referring to this. Apparently it was supposed to feature Yoko Shimomura, Keiichi Okabe, and Yuzo Koshiro?

Probably got COVID'd or otherwise delayed like everything else beside the digital release.

It's not done yet.
They said the stretch goals would come later, inlcuding stuff like the soundtrack and the DLC Luka missions.

I'm disappointed that they did nothing to change the gamepad sections. Operation 002-B just drags on because of it

I’m selling a steam code of this for $35 if anyone’s interested.

>lackluster

Explain what's lacking here. It's a 1:1 port, with no cut features neither downgrades. Plus free DLC for every backer.

Honestly, go fuck yourself.

Great port and I’m getting great merch for one of my all time favorite games.

I really regret choosing the Switch version, wish I chose PS4. At least I can play it portably if ever I want to though. (not that I ever get the chance now that I work from home) Don't regret double dipping in general though, it's a really fun game.

When I donated I was expecting that I'd get an actual remaster, not just the same game with better loading times. I really wish they would have sanded down some of the rougher parts of the game that aren't as much fun as the combat.

What are you getting user? I went Wonder Music for that god-tier soundtrack.

The music tier as well, with that vinyl

You got a remaster, the game jumped from 720p to 1080p and kept 60fps, with the obvious exception of a weak hardware like the Switch, where it drops a couple frames during a freaking cutscene.

You also paid $20 less than your standard $60 Wii U copy, got the game a week earlier and will receive free DLC whenever it comes out.

I still can't see why the fuck you're crying here.

The improved loads and frame rate honestly pretty much solve my issues.

What do you guys think of some of the smaller scale changes like making Multi-Unite a purchase and making KR retries not count against your rank?

does KR retries affect your rank? Holy fuck

>got my backer copy
>the slip cover and case were fucked up in shipping
>got sent a replacement
>now the slip cover on the new one is fucked up and printed wrong so it doesn't look correct unless you tilt it at an angle
I'm never donating to a fucking scamstarter again

Don't give a shit about frames or quality. I donated 200$ to get some physical rewards because I really do love the game. I was just expecting that my dedication would be reciprocated. This game is probably in my top 20, but some things that could have been fixed keep it from being top 10.

I'll be at Operation 002 by the time you load the prologue.

The game would cost you $40 tops (S&H not included), you paid extra $160 for what?

On Wii U they did. You could erase those deaths by exiting them, but that would put you through the load times. True pain.

my wii u copy is still in plastic

I don't really see the point in Multi-Unite being purchased, especially not one at a time.

Physical artbook I think. Don't recall exactly, I'll find out when I get the shipment in November

Only on WiiU.

The KR fix was great. It was a huge issue on the WiiU. The only way to retry a KR on WiiU was to quit back to the main mission before you died, then go back in to the KR. Having to wait through TWO very long load screens.
I loved the game, but I couldn't bear trying for platinum medals with that bullshit.

Multi-Unite being put into the shop is kinda meh. It's not like people can't exploit the game other ways (attack liner). It's not a big downer, but it's not actually improving anything either.

So you're still waiting for the goods to arrive? I guess that part is comprehensible, but keep in mind the world is upside down right now. I hope you receive your stuff ASAP, I'd love to get an artbook as well, but I'm a poorfag.

to cover the cost of porting the game to other systems, did you think nintendo would foot the bill for ps4/pc ports?
