layton series
maximum comfy

Fpbp. The most underrated video game series of the 2000s. The last specter is the best one that I've played so far

currently getting my ass handed to me by Krishna

FE Awakening for the first time. First FE game I play, playing it on hard. I'm really liking it so far.
MH4U for the second time. It's such a fantastic game. On HR6 atm.

Im about to start FE awakening too. How do you stand monster hunter alone? I could only play it to make me feel like guts from berserk but other than that i always feel like im missing out.

>How do you stand monster hunter alone?
I'm playing it with my zoomie cousin, introducing him to MH. He's a natural at it and we're having a blast.
That being said I enjoy solo hunts as well. Just you, the monster, no palicoes, and a Greatsword. Just lay back, observe its habits, read its movements, and strike at just the right moment. Something about it gets your mind in a sort of strange zone that no other game can compare to. Almost therapeutic.
But yeah it's always better if you can also play with friends.
>Im about to start FE awakening too.
Check this it helped me a lot

I'm goin through unwound future
The original 3 were the only ones i played back in the day so I'm looking forward to the rest of them

Thxs for the tips. Its a shame no one i know ever wants to play monster hunter. I got generations on switch and felt shitty no one wanted to play. all my pc gaming friends were all trying to make me buy a pc to play world but as usual they played for a week and quit so no way was i dropping a few hundred on a pc just to play

Some of that is not great advice.

For starters, it tells you to level up all your weak characters evenly. In Fire Emblem characters that start with high stats are usually much stronger.

It also says to hoard your stat boosters, which is definitely a bad idea when they're so crucial for dealing damage.

do you guys have the circle pad pro? I played through the tutorials but idk how I feel about the touch screen being the second analog stick

Based. I got one too. New 3DS XL with IPS screen (Red). Hacked with the latest tech (Luma/B9S) and the latest official firmware installed so I can also go online. Best flashcart in the world plugged in: R4i Gold Plus. Basically, I have the complete library of GBA, DS and 3DS systems at my fingertips and can run their games flawlessly as if it was native hardware. Furthermore, I have spent considerable time scouring the internet for the best games to download so that my collection doesn’t miss out any hidden or underrated gems while being suited to my personal tastes. I can post the list of games if you guys want so you can review it. All in all, highly satisfied with my handheld and definitely consider it to be the best one ever made. Comfy too. I call it the Poke-Dex cause that’s what it looks like.

post games. Just got mine and still looking for games to put on it. However mine isn't the N3DS :(

Nah i got a new2ds so it has the c stick.
Any advice then? would love some since im playing classic and im worried about losing troops
Sounds comfy af user. This truly is the best system. I got a 256gb micro sd with every good switch game on, tons of gba and ds games too. Its so comfy glad i chose to stay a handheldchad when my dad offered me an xbox or a 3ds all those years ago.

gonna hack mine so I can play medabots 9

Not that user but here are the ones on my 3ds, what you think? any im missing?

Sure. I won't spoonfeed you the best ways to beat Awakening, but here's some more useful advice for FE in general:

Promoting your units is the easiest way to make them stronger. If you promote them before level 20, they'll lose out on any level ups they would have gained, but the stat boosts are usually worth it.

Always keep a Staff user on hand for Rescue. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me from resetting a map.

Weapon forging is broken in pretty much every FE game where it's available. It's definitely worth the money.

a staff user for rescue? Im just gonna asume ill figure out what that means later. Thx user. I hope theres a pink haired qt that i can keep alive the whole game.

Rescue is a staff that teleports a far away unit to your healer. It usually doesn't take a high staff rank to use.

Sounds pretty useful is there any cute ones or cool buff guy ones?

Anyone here played rocket slime 3ds? theres a fan translation and if its as good as the original i really wanna play it

I don't see ace combat on that list

Is that good on 3ds? I played it on pc but never 3ds

>no Rhythm Heaven
Better fix that, user

I only played alittle earlier today but graphics are good and controls pretty good. excited to play more later.

Here you go.

As you can see, I'm a Castlevania and Pokemon fanboi. Also, I love the 3D gimmick of my 3DS due to Super Mario 3D Land which I believe, utilizes it the best. SMTIV might be my favorite game overall on the console. Open to any suggestions to further boost my collection.

Replaying soulsilver after a long time of not touching the game. Forgot how much I actually enjoyed the 3ds touchscreen.

Confusing that it's not really in alphabetical order but I think your list is missing Ace Attorney series, Steamworld Dig 1/2, Azure Striker Gunvolt series, and Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure.

Radiant Hisotria is better to play the DS version due to changes that make the game worse on 3ds (lowered exp/money earned, worse portrait art, and some story/scene changes lower the overall product). Same goes for the Phoenix Wright Trilogy (a lot of the sprites are missing frames).

A couple of fix ups indeed. Ill remedy that now.
No ocarina of time? majoras mask? Other fire emblem games? no rocket slime on ds? Dragon ball advanced adventure is based though

My man where's your exclusive GBA and DS games?!?

>no tetris ds

strange journey redux

Azure striker i played on my switch lite. never heard of the others though so i guess ill slap em on. I still have 120 gbs spare
Just didnt include them but i have tons of each, and lots of pokemon romhacks of emerald and the other gba games that i ported over to show up on my switch home screen. Nsui is a blessing i love seeing my gba games on there wish i could do it with my ds games

How do r4 cards work? Do I just find the roms, put them in the card and just play?

Not a big Zelda or Fire Emblem guy. I played Ocarina of Time 3D but gave up at the damn water temple. Hopefully Link Between Worlds proves to be better.

lmao that's for babbys.

I respect that user. I keep trying zelda but i aint man enough to say its not my thing so ill keep trying it

Pretty much, don't forget the firmware

Check this crazy shit out: youtube.com/watch?v=QyWl0aUbhYE

>Tfw arguably the best Third Person Shooter on the 3DS never received a Western Localization

I'll take what I can get desu.

Are R4 cards needed anymore when twilight menu exists?

I was just playing Castlevania harmony of dissonance. Seems like GBA was a missed opportunity for free money for Nintendo but oh well at least we get to use it hacked.

Taking a break from Samus Returns. I’m at the queen. Little tough but only tried it once. I played that mining robot like 10 times before beating it

What pokemon rom hacks do you got?

>Using Google Translate
That's a red flag. Hoping somebody actually does the full translation job.

If you wan't perfect compatibility then they're the way to go.
