This is arguably the best time to get into 3DS. Never been easier to hack, there’s more games now than will ever be in the future, and they haven’t been collectorfagged yet (prices still reasonable, tons of variety on the market for sale). I’m playing my N3DS XL at this very moment and it’s amazing

I've got a N3DSXL and a 2DSXL, i hacked the 2DSXL but kept the 3DS normal. Now im thinking of hacking the 3DS one just for the 3D. I like the 2DS more though. It feels nicer and cramps my hand less because of the grips made for it are extra nice.

What grips do you have? I think hori or someone made grips for 3DS as well.

I want to play my 3ds but my fucking thumb slides off the analog stick no matter what i do

Delete every but 1 game, otherwise you are gonna play everything for 5 minutes and never touch it again.

There’s gotta be some kind of grip sticker you replacement cap for it though right?

impossible to find one nowadays where im at
they jumped from 100€ to >200€ when covid hit and very few stores are stocking them anymore

Replacement sticks do exist, but they're all smooth and I don't know if they would be any better.

Naw that’s not my list. Here’s mine. I’ve played ALBW, Mario 3D Land, EO4, Bravely Default, and Summon Knight (based gba game). Working on DQ8 right now (25 hours in or so).

I just bought one. Figured they're going to become rare soon and I should probably get on that before I regret not doing so. Arrives next week.

I need a New 3DS battery and at this point I think it might be cheaper and easier to just buy a new New 3DS entirely.

thx for posting my list user. I know its heavy in pokemon but i have collectathontism so completing pokedexes is my favourite thing to do. Any other game recommendations are welcome.

Unrelated, but I'm new to 3DS modding. I see you have the base game files and updates as separate files. Is it as simple as installing the game file then the update file with FBI and the game will be updated automatically? Is there anything you have to do once both are installed?

yeh but make sure you have the right update file for the games region. Ive made that mistake too many times. Its super easy dude

Are Yoshi's New Island and ALBW actually good or just 'good' entries if you've played everything else in their respective franchises?
