Any games which make me feel like I'm going on an adventure? I recently started reading One Piece and I wish I had a video game for a similar feeling as well.
Any games which make me feel like I'm going on an adventure...
>first time
>Viz
Dragon Quest, Oda knows it too
The closest thing to an one piece games I ever encountered was Dragon quest VII
>Comfy adventures with your crew that gets bigger by time
>Go island to island, enjoying their story and helping them fight off evil
>Long.As.Fuck, it works in his favour though as previous islands or locations become pivotal to the plot
>In the end, the only thing the MC wanted was comfy adventures at sea
dragon quest
One Piece peaked at Water 7
Any JRPG
Eneis Lobby/Water 7 was definitely the high point, Marineford came super close too. I really hope Wano picks up a bit more so we can experience that hype again
Wind Waker but it's pretty short
Dragon Ball > One Piece
pokemon
>Dragon Quest,
is dq11 any good? or should I rather start with cursed king /7
3DS let you marry Jessica
(Technically, you steal her from your friend....)
If it's your first Dq, I would go with either 8 or 5, 11 once you get a hang of the series (even if it is beginner friendly but it's fucking long) and wouldn't touch 1,2,3,6,7 until you are sure you really like the series
SAY IT ROBIN!
>not whole kino island
>touch 1,2,3,6,7 until you are sure you really like the series
oh yeah I meant 8 not 7. Thanks!
Wind Waker
You even sail the seas and go island to island.
Forgot to add:
>Small plots that link loosely to the overall main plot
>You can switch your party members to pirate job class
>You get upgraded ships as the game progresses
>SOUL
Sneak peak at the Netflix adaptation.
Wait, really?
>Any games which make me feel like I'm going on an adventure?
Kingdom Hearts to me
As if an adaptation could end up with this much hilarious soul
Dragon's Dogma gave me those adventure and exploration feelings the first time I played it
Then I realized 50% of the world map isn't actually accessible, and all the cool locations are story-locked. But until that point, it was amazing.
Tales of Symphonia/Abyss/Berseria
Final Fantasy V
Xenoblade 1
WCI is definitely the closest post-TS One Piece has come to greatness, by virtue of not simply retreading the same "island people are oppressed by evil man and Luffy gets angry" story.
Wish Oda had leaned more into the assassination/ocean's eleven shit, though.
Why is Nami a man?
>Why is Nami a man?
this is a brave new world
Honestly to me, WCI would've been flawless if the fucking escape didn't last so damn long
The Luffy vs Katakuri part of those chapters was great but everyhing else was unnecessary padding
Lasted like 30 fucking chapters, that's longer than some arcs
shut the fuck up you insensitive shitlord
I can't fucking even ugh
why are you like this?
you think I only stole her money? Think again!
Her womanhood is mine, you can have what's left.
Yoshihiko was so good
lmao
What is that clusterfuck of an UI
Too good.
