Then when I have the chance to finally play Bio 2 now I don't fucking understand how they make such shit of plot on infinite (the expanded lore on 2 was so much better than the first one)

And let's be honest Eleanor interactions feels so much better than Elizabeth's.

I stopped feeling vulnerable about two chapters in to Bioshock 1. Plus there's already the built-in explanation of splicers getting better weapons over time necessitating beefier Big Daddies while the player is stuck as the weaksauce prototype.
