The switch version of DSR is, funny enough, the best way to play the game in 2020. Every other version of DSR has the awful new textures and lighting, switch just has compressed sound but the original aesthetic.

PTDE + DSfix is superior
Remastered has shit lighting, broken animations, and unnecessary gameplay changes. The only redeemable factors are that it's still Dark Souls, has re-scaling UI and working multiplayer.
They are scumbags for taking PTDE off the store, not giving remastered to all PTDE owners, and/or not simply just patching PTDE version.
